  • Some of you ricer are ate up an know nothing. I actually went to school an work on my own cars. Rotarys are in many opionins the worst engines ever(airplanes use them). The only reason there good on gas is because theres hardly anything to them there a very simple design, hardly any moving parts. If you have the money an Ls series motor is one of the best. My 93 camaro z28 with an lt1 6 speed achieves 30mpg + on the highway interstate. That being said learn up a little guys

  • no manifold leaks,it wuz the paint burnoff from the header coating

  • I cant believe you went with this machine instead of a 20b. Its a rotary car and will always be rotary...

  • "Let's say you are going to the grocery store, once you arrive the engine is shut off at the same time you realize you left your wallet. Their is slightly better than 50% chance that immediately starting the engine after-wards would cause the engine to flood."

Another thing... the engine doesn't have a lot of torque at take off, it only takes affect at higher RPM.

    They're gas and oil thirsty.

But it IS smooth. The rotary doesn't have things slamming up and down so it won't shake as much.

  • The rx7 is still one of the most unique cars ever made because of its engine, putting in a v8 american muscle style machine in it really kills the concept of an rx7. dont you think? despite its downfalls, the rotary is an extraordinary engine for a 7.

  • Z06 engine in a 1988 RX-7 with 18" saleen wheels? pretty bad ass...would u be interested in selling this?

  • Its on ebay

  • you got some pretty bad manifold leaks there
