@mistbooster - thank you fair point - however with the limited number racks, these would normally be contained within a data room or a separate section within the greater machine hall. My only point was that a few racks on there own do not make a data centre, well not the data centres I've worked with.
@dubyamoney well disney is planning a data center in the north carolina and it would only have 18 racks total and 2 management only racks alongside. they plan on starting a "dispersed" cloud service, north carolina is a test step, if it works, they go with the full plans with one small data center like that in each state which make up one complete cloud service. On the other hand, disney also wanted to make Apple and Android app designer a viable Bachelors in North carolina uni, tells something.
Jack Caveney of North Palm Beach, FL donated $10,000 to the campaign of Wisconsin's Temporary Governor Scott Walker - earning Panduit Corp a place on the Boycott List. Be sure to keep them and everyone else on the internet informed about the need to boycott Panduit Corp and let Jack know Wisconsin is CLOSED for this business.
@TylertheGeek28 he/she was being sarcastic, of course it would run it. It would run it inside a VM inside a vm on every core of every machinis triple folds... a.k.a 50,000 threads
Was looking at brocade for our next project. Seems like Cisco is the way to go for our pretty large project. over 100Gbit of egress bandwidth needed, and over 500Gbit of bandwidth for our internal network.
Cisco totally blew our mind. The CRS-3 was awesome

Panduit's headquarters was built with the help of millions of state of Illinois tax dollars in the form of a tax credit with the promise of hiring and retaining a certain number of employees. The contract with the state of Illinois has a clause that Panduit complies with all equal employment laws and the ADA. Sadly, that is not the case. Despite making record profits, Panduit proceded to lay-off long-term older employees and those who had health issues -- and move production out of the US.
The Data Center is using the Unified Computing Systems as servers - These servers are made by Cisco Check the video "Cisco UCS new generation of servers "
It's being sold by Cisco, so the data center of the future is at least four times as expensive as the competitors data center, has built-in 33% recurring maintenance costs and termination fees that will make your eyes bleed. I just turned down a Cisco RFP where *cough* other vendors came in at literally one fifth the cost. Imagine that...
Find the company who owns this data-center and tell them their IT guys have been buying stacks and stacks of new hard-ware that is almost 100% un-utilised but still turned on for the pretty lights! 8o)

@dubyamoney It is not the amount that matters, but what is inside them, is what truly counts.

I did not see any clouds in that data center. I fail to see how clouds are able to help your data center. Clouds are just water vapors aren't they?

Futur servers doesn't have cpu/harddrive/swichs only funky purple leds and some yellow wires.
