  • Yeah - I woulda used a capo to move it up a couple of steps - maybe even 3 - but if you didn't have one you coulda transposed them chords and then I woulda segue'd into Hey Joe since the chord progression is very similar. Then I woulda gone into Hush like the acoustic Joe South original and by then most of them people woulda gone home and you and Santa woulda had that bottle all to yoursELVIS.

  • Bob's guitar was tuned down a half step or two, and I usually play this song with the capo on the first fret. I have a low, bass voice, but this song may have actually been too low for me to sing! I love this tune. And I love Bob's guitar! Thanks BOB!!
