@jjsandersheli till the end of the runway, that's where we unloaded all of the people and cargo. :P I remember the loadmasters loading cargo and people up to the last 50lbs of the max take off weight when we left Christchurch. This was the best mission of my military career, lots of positive stories and the Kiwis liked us over there. :)

Oh wow, I might of been on that flight. I worked as the 2A553A Avionics Tech for the Air Force on operation deep freeze that season and we took AC 1107. Awesome!!!

this plane can do most things a c5 can do except its more agile, it can bank and what not alot more compared to a c5, im a c5 guy myself and personally the new c5m blows the c17s away

However, he failed his MED, too (due to asthma >_<")

Then he became police officer and met my mom, working as security supervisor at DUS Airport xD

And now I want to become either an ATC or pilot ^^

@piloty5 i went and talked to some recruiters both for the air force and the coast guard and both gave me the same answer. no way Jose. my friends tell me to lie about it, but if i went to basic without some medication i'd end up getting sent home anyways. pretty lame, there are a lot of people getting in who have what i consider worse conditions, or people who just are not as capable. what can you do.....bitch about it on youtube :)

@jrowe6 My daughter had a friend who chose to not disclose a health issue...he wanted to be like his dad...so he joined...about a week or so prior to his departure from Guam to basic my wife gave him a ride home...all he talked about was being like his dad...he left for basic and 3rd week or so collapsed there and died from a heart problem...I had to deal with the family...this story made CNN and FOX news...was not a good time...unfortunately the Air Force isn't your calling...keep your chin up
