I thought the Minbari killed humans just as easily in ground battles? When it came to infantry battles we lost nearly every time. The Minbari are physically stronger and can endure more punishment than humans can. I'm surprised that the Earth Alliance didn't consider using genetic enhancement for their marines. Perhaps the construction of A.I soldiers? As far as I'm aware, the latter technological capability isn't available/practiced in the Babylon 5 universe. Still when it comes it extinction.
despite hands out losing the space engagements, the humans won the majority of planetside or land wars . probably because we always believe in very advanced infantry equip and weapons, gunships, heavy tank divisions, artillery and so forth many other b5 races centered the armies on interception and anti infantry vehicles, easy picking for tanks, guess our inter homeworld wars did "some good" if only fictional
if u look into the fictional history of earth in b5 u will find that they were recovering from fighting a 3rd world war and the dilgar interstellar war as well
Actually the death toll was in the low 300.000 deaths..
Wich compared to wars like world wars or even vietnam , afghanistan and so its really low to be such a big scale interspace war. And from those 300.000 almost 200.000 were in the last battle
Perhaps authors believed that making a bloodier war will make near implausible a possible pacific cooperation after the war, and Minbari' s strategy was like McArthur in Pacific Theatre 1942-45: Jumping from island to island, occupying the strategic ones and leaving japanese isolated forces to suffer starvation and lack of logisitcs while the main thrust was the mainland of enemy.

I can't imagine making a game about the Earth-Minbari War. Humanity in that fictional story was just far too weak and incapable.

It's from Babylon5-game. It's stand alone game that uses heavily modified Freespace 2 engine
