Amazing! Somebody tell the devil I'm getting back up, it's not over. Thanks Brother McKee, I preached a message and was so inspired by this I used this in my message but changed some of it, I titled mine, "Satan It's Not Over, I'm Getting Back Up I Win". To God be the glory, he never fails and he always gives us strength to get back up.
Being a pastor myself, I see absolutely nothing wrong with what this brother is doing. When you are letting the Holy Ghost lead church services you WILL net results like this. And praise God for Houses of worship like this!

There was nothing wrong whatsoever in His standing on the pulpit. It is a piece of furniture, and since it is where the Word comes from, in essence, He was standing on The Word to make his point. Straining a gnat, swallow a camel. the point was the Message he was saying, stop trying to divert from the Word.
@thepokcom I have seen a powerful man of God, in the Holy Ghost, tear pages out of the bible and a man of God stand on the bible. I love it because it shows that no matter what, in the Holy Ghost God can do what he wants and these men are committed to moving out of the way and letting God have his way. I love it and thank them for it. Praise God for men like this and for the great shepard he has given me being my pastor and first lady. I love my pastor and church and would not trade them ever.
@cariocadobrasil7 Im Pentecostal and I am all for freedom in worship and "not tying the hands of the preacher" but why in the world would a preacher tear pages out of a bible?? My pastor has stood on the alter or on a pew to pray for someone (lol he's short) but never tear pages from the bible:S

a great word, needed in the body. there's nothing wrong with standing on the pulpit, the pulpit isn't even Biblical, it came from paganism after Constantine consolidated Christianity with the other pagan religions of the romans.
Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the only way to atone for your sins. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice because He lived a life without sin and died for you. He paid the price for our sins. It is a free gift of salvation that God offers to you. Will you accept it? I pray that you find truth in your life. Jesus is the only truth that anyone needs. Awesome message. Been reading the posts. God is so awesome in his wisdom & the preachers that he chooses to call. In the day & age we live in w/ all the drama & action & all the other visual things we see today, we need preachers to do things in the spirit that will catch the eye of the sinner or the saint . Great preaching and demonstration, people will remember that and never forget the picture of pastor trying to reach them, the pulpit means pulling them from the pit of hell. Bishop Kilgore one time stood on pulpit trying to reach his congregation by warning them about hell and in the end after the service one doctor gave him $10,000 and thank him for the demonstration and he knew pastor really cares.
We all have things that come back to haunt us. You have to turn the past over to Jesus... If you don't know Him, repent {ask His forgiveness} and be baptized in the SAVING NAME of JESUS CHRIST for the remission {forgiveness} of every past sin, every past heartache, everything in your past!
repenting is not asking for forgiveness, repenting is turning from your ways to HIS ways. We need not to ask for forgiveness anymore, HE has paid for it over 2000 years ago...an unbelievers sins has been forgiven, the difference between us and them, is that they have not accepted HIM as their Lord and Saviour...
Try this. Whenever the devil reminds you or your past, remind him of his future! He will be bound forever, and you are set free. When Jesus forgives, He also forgets your sins forevermore (Ezekiel 33). You must forgive yourself, and plead the blood of Jesus over your past. He can take it away as long as you are not still living in your past sins. If you're still struggling with sin, pray and study God's Word daily to overcome. Hide his Word in your heart so you can conquer sin.
Just Sunday night a Bro. Pace preached about a valley and a God that is the same in the valley as He is on the mountian. This is a great message, don't stop preaching what it is going to take. to the backslider, come on back to God, He is calling you now.
An awesome message! Not only is it awesome, but it is also so true! The devil places lies in your mind, tries to place devision in your heart and before you know it, your down, feeling left out, and run down. But than... God steps into your picture, and we are able to stand again! If not for the Lord where would you be? It seems in the past few months/weeks more and more people I know, and even myself, have been through this same thing. Its exactly like he said. You can hold on and push and fight until the Devil finds that week spot, and BAM! your down. I believe its about time God's people take a stand once again the & Rise to the calling of the Masters Voice. You just don't know how much this touched me.

It seems to me that some of us have place the pulpit to a position of power but to be honest with the pulpit is nothing more wood, paint, nails, and a mic, dont forget its not the pulpit but what goes on behind the pulpit that is important.... moving on. I t was a powerful message i wish we could hear the entire message tho
