I think everything that one need know of the polygraphs useful is summed up in The Wire when they walk out the room where the were testing the guy and the "experts" almost literally say to the cops "What do you want the results to say?"
Actually, I have a feeling someone may have had an axe to grind as it's only the slightly naive detective that seems surprised at this.

This piece of legislation is ridiculous and if it and PIPA get passed, it would mean complete corporate domination of the internet and many many more people would have to go through what SFDebris had to earlier this year. I don't know how any of these companies can claim with a straight face that SOPA or PIA won't be abused, when the DMCA was so egregiously.
And when the hell is YouTube going to fix the slow text problem once and for all?
