The thing that puzzles me is..... out of all the band names in the world, the thousands of them, when Rush was formed, you'd think "Rush" would already be taken! But, no! It's such a simple name, but represents all of their music.

@zackjp Yeah, the same goes for Judas Priest (And a SLEW of other bands more deserving than Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Run DMC, Abba and so forth). The R'n'R Hall of Fame is a joke and we should take pride in quality bands staying away from it. It's like Alex said: "I couldn't care less, it's a joke" (paraphrased).

@zackjp Although KISS was a very dynamic and a band who really tried to be different, I personally don't see too much talent in them. I mean they are famous of course, but I personally think that they really are just like the rest of the regular rock bands, but there is a place for that. But, anyways, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is really not the standard for being a great band; there are many fantastic bands who aren't in there, including Rush especially, which really gets at me.

Neil is very shy and doesn't like media interviews. He's always been like that. A few years ago, he lost his wife to cancer and his daughter in a car accident only a few months later. It took him a few years to recover from all that

I am fortunate to know these guys. I went to high school with them and grew up in Willowdale like they did. They were great 40 years ago, and they are awesome now.
