I use this theme song everytime I read the Marvel Masterworks or the TPB collection of the 1970s and 80s collection of AVENGERS stories. If Marvel had done an animated series of the AVENGERS in the 1980s, the Mike Post/Pete Carpenter theme would have been perfect.
