Unlike so many musicians that I've listened to over my lifetime, Loreena seems to be one of the very few who simply gets consistently better. She always researches her work thoroughly and then tries to outdo herself.

As a live performer, I have never seen anyone better, frequently outdoing her studio efforts. This is one my favorite albums of hers - and believe me, I have them all.

to Vikingohannes: I have never considered McKennitt as easy listening music. Her voice is pure and touches the soul, and the words of all of the songs I've herd are thought provoking. Hers is not a cd that I put on late at night to promote sleep. Rather, late when the night is quiet and I can listen, ponder, and dream-wake to her songs. Sorry if you were offended. I would not be. But we are not the same.
