No its not more powerful. Velocity doesn't determine power alone, it is coupled with mass in order to achieve the correct calculation. If you paid attention in physics class, you'd know that Force = Mass x Acceleration. The 9mm Handgun may shoot at 900 fps, but with a far heavier projectile. For example: a Crosman Phantom may shoot at 1000 fps with a 7 grain pellet, but a 9mm Luger fires at 1000fps with a 150 grain bullet. Pellet gun<Firearm
