Showed up late one evening and left a note on the door to say she was sorry she missed the party! The other side of it was her professinalism. Jodie was so intense on live set. You just feel her when she is there. Every second she was the forlorn character. You felt her.

Can i just say, to whoever is complaining about lighting and everything, do you realize how old the movie is? and how low the budget was? It's an amazing movie for that aspect.

One of his best movies... a romantic movie that even a man has to like as it's mystery throughout the movie...the end is very sad...but still very good for the reasons he did it. A must watch! I even own the DVD.
My favorite part was at theend when he was standing alone.....waiting to be hung........and all he wanted to hear was is her voice to know she was watching.....to see how much he loved her--Enough to die for her.

I also think it's one of the best portrayals of courtship, intimacy and sensuality. A refreshing respite from the raw show-every-detail sex scene.
