I remember just sitting on a bench in Dal, watching horde and alliance trot by on their riding mounts. I loved the intimacy of dalaran. I loved WotLK. I've never adjusted to cata. Maybe I'm a loser for it but there were some good times in that xpac. Miss it terribly.
This music can bring out so many emotions in every person who ever had a piece of Dalaran within them. So many good times with friends and wonderful memories rest in peace in the heart of Dalaran for me, and for many others. The music used to be a sign of such magestic energy, but not, it sounds more like a cry of pain for being forgotten. Dalaran will never be forgotten even after wow folds up, the city and it's treasured memories will always live on in all of us, Cataclysm was named perfect

This music is so beautiful, so enchanting. I miss Dalaran and equally miss the family feeling of the city. Shatt was good, and during it's time it was beautiful and held it's memories, but, Dalaran has so much more to offer with a more peaceful music and environment. Cata was boring in terms of people for me. of course, i switched to a PVE server whose primary players are on a different time zone. of well. i think once i finish leveling and partly gearing my guys, i'll do more with my alliance gang on the other server.

vanilla was an ok game. it was exciting to go the first raids and all :) i got VERY excited when TBC came, it was a good expansion lots of pvp and stuff, but when WOTLK came... i was so amazed. It was a SUPER awesome expansion, i loved it from the beginning to the end. did all raids every week and stuff.... but then cata came. its a piece of shit crap expansion where you get bored by just entering orgrimmar. sucks so hard that a good game like this can be ruined so easily. Im sick of it all.
Oh, Dalaran. I miss needing to go to ICC so I stop by you and DCing because of your freakish lag. And then as I'm trying to log back on my group kicks me and finds someone else. And then I spend the next half hour trying to log back on so I can leave. Eventually I give up and the next day I come on and I'm still stuck there forever. I just have to hope I can hearth before I lag out.....

Toc sucked ass. The only good raids for wrath were Naxx 25, Uldar and H mode ICC IMO. However wrath did have some of the best quest, music and overall shit to do. IMO.
Man, I quit wow during wotlk, like towards the end, and i regret it so much. I miss the memories of me sitting in one spot until i finially got my spirit bear, it was such a good feeling of accomplishment, and i miss my wonderful guild members. Such a regret, so I try WoW Cata. I get on and only a few of my good friends were in my clan. All of my others were in an opposing one... I went back to Dal and was dissapointed. Played cata got 85, and quit. I miss them all so much :(
@Girrovv I wouln't call it empty. There are still a lot of NPCs running around. It was lore-wise also never meant to be a little 5 by 5 yard metropolis with more players running around than in the morning at the entrance of Disneyworld. It's more or less the capital of the magi, with some visitiors (you nowadays) and nothing more.

Oh, Dalaran, what have they done to you? You were so full of life once and yet so strange... I miss the chill in my bones, knowing ICC was so close and yet I was somehow safe, I miss seeing both factions mingle and going about their business. I still visit though, fly around, look for books, but everything is so empty... Ghostlands are more populated than you and that's a pity.

@yodilin You couldn't get awesome gear from heroics, you could get epic gear but not awesome gear. For full sets of 11.5 and awesome weps, trinkets etc u had to raid. Plus i agree with the guy, it doesnt giv a big insentive to play when all ur gear turns to shit in front of you :(

Why not letting the portals stay there? You have to go to OG or SW anyway to enter the new zones... now it is, like Shatt, a Ghostcity. Do we have to expect another dead City with every expansion? To bad for Dala, it still is one of the most beautiful City`s in WoW ever.

Toc sucked ass. The only good raids for wrath were Naxx 25, Uldar and H mode ICC IMO. However wrath did have some of the best quest, music and overall shit to do. IMO.

Man, I quit wow during wotlk, like towards the end, and i regret it so much. I miss the memories of me sitting in one spot until i finially got my spirit bear, it was such a good feeling of accomplishment, and i miss my wonderful guild members. Such a regret, so I try WoW Cata. I get on and only a few of my good friends were in my clan. All of my others were in an opposing one... I went back to Dal and was dissapointed. Played cata got 85, and quit. I miss them all so much :(

@Girrovv I wouln't call it empty. There are still a lot of NPCs running around. It was lore-wise also never meant to be a little 5 by 5 yard metropolis with more players running around than in the morning at the entrance of Disneyworld. It's more or less the capital of the magi, with some visitiors (you nowadays) and nothing more.

I play on a private server, normal rates like 3.3.5 just like retail was.
since you guys "hate cata" you can come and play for free :P

Oh, Dalaran, what have they done to you? You were so full of life once and yet so strange... I miss the chill in my bones, knowing ICC was so close and yet I was somehow safe, I miss seeing both factions mingle and going about their business. I still visit though, fly around, look for books, but everything is so empty... Ghostlands are more populated than you and that's a pity.

@yodilin You couldn't get awesome gear from heroics, you could get epic gear but not awesome gear. For full sets of 11.5 and awesome weps, trinkets etc u had to raid. Plus i agree with the guy, it doesnt giv a big insentive to play when all ur gear turns to shit in front of you :(

@takemeillfollow06 As much as I agree with you on the "I miss Dala" part, Cata is not bad at all. In fact, it is the best expansion content wise. But if you count memories; Then TBC and WotLK will, of course, be #1. Shattrath and Dala. <3
P.S: Portals are back with 4.1, so you can start hanging around again. :D

Why not letting the portals stay there? You have to go to OG or SW anyway to enter the new zones... now it is, like Shatt, a Ghostcity. Do we have to expect another dead City with every expansion? To bad for Dala, it still is one of the most beautiful City`s in WoW ever.
