  • May you keep the songs of old on your lips, and the Knot of the Slain in your heart!

  • we shall have this world again

  • my ancestors date back to the vikings and its really sad these proud warriors were slaughtered and brought down by christianity another culture ruined by bullshit religion!

  • Denmark is awsome i am Danish and proud

  • @Guldbumba me too

  • DANMARK STYRER FOR VILDT

    jeg er dansk og stolt

  • Heil AEsir, Heil Vanir... Heil Visigoths and Vikings

  • I have no knowledge of vikings. But this song is still cool.

  • a tritbute to the baking god :D

    is jonne jarvela singing?

  • is jonne jarvela singing?

  • I hail my brothers of the north. May we never forget our old belif, may we never forget our heritage! The gods are still with us, we just need to prove that we honour them once again.

  • KEEP THE OLD FAITH ALIVE BECAUSE IN THE END WE ALL WANT TO GO TO VALHALLA!!!!!!

  • Hails to my family ! Vikings!

  • Viking were the most strong and honest warriors and traders

  • Let me give you some information about my Viking brothers.

In one of his book that's only translated to Turkish, Prof. Seven Lagerbring wrote: "Our ancestors are Turks who are comrades of Oden. We have got enough evidence on this subject. There are people who want to fool you into thinking they are Goths, or Tyrks. I don't care whether it will be discrediting for me or not. Oden and his comrades were Turks." This makes Turks and Vikings blood brothers

  • @ancalimonungol "In this book thats only translated to Turkish"? That dosent really give anything. Ive NEVER heard the vikings have ANYTHING in common with the Turks, stop dreaming.

  • @SwedishViking1988 : You mean apart from their language group and letters they used and their ancient religion?

Have you ever seen the runes Turks and Vikings used?

search google for "MYSTERY OF THE FUTHARK ALPHABET" and open the first link.

That book was translated only to Turkish that's correct. But the original written in Gothic letters can still be found in Stockholm Royal library.

  • @ancalimonungol The Vikings dosent have any connections with the Turks, what so ever, why is that so hard to understand? The Vikings were hardly near Turkey. If they were it were only at the end of the viking age.

  • @SwedishViking1988 :

Not to know something is not something to be ashamed of. Not to learn is. Turks originate from Middle and North Asia and they colonized many different places. Turkey is just one of them. Turks don't originate from Turkey. I'm talking about thousands if not tens of thousands years ago.

  • @ancalimonungol you stupid fuck dont ever mention viking with filthy mongolian turks your language is not even european you mongolian fuck.

  • @SwedishViking1988 : Also search for "yurt roof" pictures in Google to understand what Odin's cross really is and search for the meaning of cross (it's "haç" in Turkic languages) UÇ: to fly, kUŞ: a bird (a bird is a cross when flying with its wings open), AÇı: angle, UÇ: edge, the furthest, highest. A cross is a tool what represents balance, to keep together, to meet on a center.

  • @ancalimonungol lol what are you talking about? Odens mark is called "Valknut". And its old scandinavian (Valr from warrior, and knut), not turkish. Wth are your teachers learning? Oden didnt use a "cross" People could also use a symbol that was a spear edge. Seriously, dont come with a load of bs.

  • @SwedishViking1988 : If I relied on my teachers when I was a little kid, I wouldn't have known any of the things I know now.. The Odens mark you are talking about can be seen all around Asia and even Anatolia. They are of the same origin.

  • @ancalimonungol your ignorance are rather amuseing. The vikings have no relation with Asian, the Vikings have no relation with the Turks, why is this so hard to understand? The Valknut is a scandivavien symbol. Please accept this and stop living in your ignorance. The only relation the vikings had were the trade, so its not impossible that the mark can be seen in Asian, though, the vikings have no origin that they share with Asia. Geesh...

  • @SwedishViking1988 Maybe if you weren't so overly proud about your viking ancestors you would realise that the person you are flaming at actually speaks some truth. Many of the pagan symbols from Northern Europe are also used in other parts of the world. If you want an example you can find some more information about Odin's Cross :)

  • who sings this song?/sweden

FREEDOM FOR ALL, DEATH FOR THE REST!

HA HA, Ragnaroks going to be fun :p

  • @Berserker07 are you retarded?

  • @CrimsonNasferatu

Are you? Generally its common practice when giving a insult to inform the victim as to what your objection is. Are you objecting to me playing the part to an ancient roleplay game, or my choosing of sides in said game? or are you just looking to troll? Either way, fuck off scrub, there are no Gods.

  • @Berserker07 Ok fine I object to the "there is no gods"

go back to playing your roleplaying game then you dirty hippie.

  • @sillybomber hey wat r u guys talking about? lol viking gods... how do i learn this??

  • Heil to vikings god FROM SLOVAKIA :) /,,/

  • I Love this song

    Hail Odin!!!!

The chords are just D minor and C. and when the electric guitar just play the power chord versions of D minor and C.

    Its in standard tuning.

  • you can try search on google there its stand what the gods name are

  • Does anyone have a complete history link to the norse religion?

I really want to learn more about it!

anyone know where I can find it?

  • You'd probably best ot search Asatru or Odinism or even neo paganism but that expands out into wicca etc. And i'm glad to see more and more people taking an interest in a religion who lost so many followers to the persistent christians. Hail to Odin and the three Norns.

  • If the norse god odin and the rest of norse gods are real...Then im sure there having a party with Zeus and all the greek, roman, celtic, welsh, egyption and the read of mythologies gods which there own kings made up to make it look like there people actually accomplished something no one else has before in history.

  • dont forget the monotheistic gods too.

seriously do you think your special because you figured out (actually i'd bet my life someone had to show you) that the gods were made up to represent a society and its greatness.

Thats exactly what the norse gods were and it was NEVER a secret, why do you think the nordic countries were the first to embrace being atheist on such a large scale, we never beleived in the pixie shit lore, but it was fun all the same.

  • ...bud you are a twat, it doesn't matter all religion is based off of what you describe, but what difference does it make if someone believes in Odin or Jesus? it makes no difference, all religion is based on faith in a lie one way or another but that doesn't meen that the old ways and religion should be discarded or written off as simple mythology. there are mysteries in the univerese that science cannot explain and if we choose to use Odin then it is our choice & not the athiests to tell us no

  • oops typo"and the rest of mythologies gods"

  • yes friend, we are allways growing.

I myself found the gods 4 mounth ago. We are coming back and I must say it warms my heart to hear of it's continued expansion.

    Wassail!

  • Glad to hear it brother!

  • FATHER ODIN SMILE UPON US !

  • Dude! this song is so catchy! i love it! Hail Odin!!!

  • nice song, cheers:D

  • vikings where pirates, but also the elite in the scandinavian army. thus they wasent named vikings but berserkers.

  • I am christian but sometimes i wich that I lived like 1100 years ago in Sweden, one of the old vikings lands. Like I said im a christian and i like all about this gods. Sometimes I feel sorry for I cant come in to Valhalla (Valhall in swedish) because im christian. And these gods is not demons like some christians says. I like Odin (Oden in swedish) and Tyr the god of war with one arm.

  • @Remoniq Keep listening to Viking metal, and listen to the call of the gods. May we meet in their halls!

  • Thor is definitely my fav god

  • with an axe of course

  • IrishCatholique go away we dont want you to be here! here on earth! you sayed our gods are demons if i see you ill chop your head of with an you will go right to Hel

  • Love this song it gets me so wild it's not even funny. I've been bashing my hands on the desks and on the walls all day singing the chorous to this. I love norse myth and anything viking.

  • they are not demons I am Asatru/Odinist we don't preach to you so fuck off. You guys are one reason why I gave up christianity.

  • fuck off

  • Yeah... It's just a song. Calm down. I am christian, and it's people like you who give us a bad name. Calm down and let people live as they wish, it's their choice and you can't FORCE them to live as you do.

  • lol

  • now thats not right. I'm roman catholic, I believe in one god, and i worship him. Your obviously nobody too smart cause no one that is truely faithful would spend their time preaching on youtube. I like the song i get riled up and im a big believer of Catholicism. But I believe you should let others believe in what they wish not dictate whether there is only one god yet let people embrace it, don't be ignorant you cant honestly say this song doesn't get you wild?

  • Hälsningar Fran Aasgaard!! Hälsningar fran Chile!

  • Im from Sweden and i love the stories about our vikings and their gods =)

  • agreed :)

    im from norway btw x)

  • HAIL ODIN!!!

  • Hail the Norse Gods Hail Odin

  • HAIL TO THE VIKING GODS!

  • vikings are still arround, just mixed with other races and more evolved. christianity or other religions is just a stage humanity is going through.

  • Mixed with other races? Dont look that way, yet.. More evolved alright.

  • Viking is not a seperate ethnicity. Viking was a Scandinavian name for Pirates/bandits.

Their Gods were not different to other Germanic peoples Gods.

  • lol, i feel stupid now.

    good point though

  • Sorry mate, I just a bugbear of mine.

The Vikings attacked their own people, their own villages as well as other tribes. They were like Pirates.

  • what are you serious? ever been to a scandinavian museum?

they were a people, with rules, laws and their own culture. they did plunder, rape and war, but they were not anything like pirates in movies or somalia today. you make it sound like they just sailed and slaughtered anyone. they were explorers, way ahead of their time, even when it came to rights for women

  • That paragraph aptly describes the Norse and other Germanic tribespeople.

Viking is not an ethnic description.

  • the vikings came from scandinavia. however you choose to interpret that is up to you. i do not call all raiders by sea at that time for vikings. there was more to vikings than just plundering by sea. they had their own way of life, and the word viking do not apply to others.

jesus, visit a museum before you say anything else!

  • no need to get personal old chap. As i have noticed many Museum choose to cash in on the hype over the Vikings as being distinct because that brings in the tourists.

I think you and others are confusing Scandinavian sea borne pirates/bandits for the Scandinvian sea-faring tribes-people in general. They traded in most parts of the world by sea and settled many areas.

  • they did both. the swedes traded east, while the danes went to england and to war, norwegians raided ireland and settled on faroe islands and iceland. you can't use the word "pirate" to describe something as the vikings

  • Danes settled half of England. They did not being 'viking' culture but Danish culture.

The difference is you are using Vikings to describe these people. They would nto consider themselves Vikings. Vikings WERE priates/bandits. The difference is they have gotten mixed up.

  • talking in circles here. today we use the word viking as the people who traveled, pillaged, explored, raped, traded, and lived in scandinavia (but not all of the scandinavian people). they weren't wiking just when at sea, and other people pirating weren't vikings. don't care what you think

  • If you don't care then why keep answering?

  • some people can even annoy mountains..

  • it wasn't an insult. just my thoughts

  • Comment removed

  • Vickings I love avantures life!

    -Honza the one Slav

  • Viking descendent in da house!

  • wish vikings were still around!!

  • They are in one way. Their are still people in the norse who dislikes christians, wirships asatru gods and honors vikings deeply and are like vikings.

The viking's sons are still alive

  • christains can never end the blood line of the true gods whom shall leave there halls and claim there rightfull plave once the stain of christ has been burnt from thier soil.

  • Im a viking still ! in soul, belive and how im over for others in the real life ... even learn how to fight like them and i have a old armour too !
