@uzi2004 Most caps you can wash by hand in mild soap. I use the cleaner as a pretreat on the stains then use the brush and wash by hand in cold water. The thing you need than is that inflatable form and the shaper to get the wrinkels out or the cap and make it crisp like new. I think this kit works.

This thing is well made and it is the only thing I found that really shapes a cap and the shaper is liquid acrylic that makes the cap stiffer and helps repel dirt. It works a hell of lot better than that basket dishwasher crap.

re-shaper is just starch. Cleaner is probably just something like screen cleaner for TV's.. the balloon is just a hand pumped balloon which is not needed if you just wear your cap?

The best way to clean the sweat of the brim is to use the cleaner and the brush then use some mild soap and water on a towel and scrub the stain. Then wrinsh the cap quickly put it on the inflatable form if you got one and let it dry slowly don't put in in the sun.

@nathanharps Use the cleaner from New Era but make sure the cap is color fast. Use the brush and blot with a damp cloth. If it is a dark color cap I use some goof off to get out the glue. You may have to wash the cap but you can get back the shape and the stiffness with that recap kit inflatable form and shaper liquid.

if you get one of those "Ball Cap Buddy"s (thats the actual name) and then put it in the dishwasher. it works perfectly. you wont lose the shape of your cap..... theres no damage. put it at a normal cycle and wash it.... oh you dont need have dishes in there if you dont want to. and it will get out all your sweaty dirty marks/lines that are on yo hat as well

p.s. you can get them on amazon or just look up "Ball Cap Buddy" .... works only for baseball caps.

I just made this thing at home. a small plastic trash can that will make the cap a crown ( but first wash it on delicate) then get super strong hair spray and spray the crown all around the hairspray wil harden it so it stays in form it works for me. If it doesn't work for u i'm not responsible for your cap.
