I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember reading your story on the PDSA shortly after my daughter was diagnosed in July, 2008. Your story impressed upon me that ITP is serious, and that I need to vigilant about watching my daughter. She'll be 5 in a few weeks and has had wonderful counts the past few months. Your story is a reminder how lucky I am. I'll keep your family in my prayers.
I also have ITP. I don't know anyone else who does. It has changed my life. I am a teacher. I was pulled out of the classroom for a year and told the that the threat of a brain hemorrhage was too great to continue to be a teacher. Itp is still a daily part of my life and sometime I am very sad however, your video of Casey made me appreciate my life more. Thank you!
A very sad and at the same time inspirational video. I too have ITP, and live w/the constant lil thought of a brain hemorrhage. The best part is the end w/ all the different people wearing the ITP fighter shirts. ITP doesn't discriminate. Thank you for making the video. I just know Casey would have loved seeing all the smiling faces on it.Thank you!!
