Absolutely brilliant a class 47 still going strong brilliant!Is this cherry tree bank?Very deceiptive that first shot as it looks like up hill ,going away from the camera.

Not actually sure mate what the bank is called, but it is definately uphill all the way! Agreed there are not as many 47s about as there used to be there are still plenty if you know where to look. The 47 was only used on this occasion as the steamers couldnt run round at Ironbridge as hoped, so had to top and tail on the branch.

Two gutsy little tank engines pulling 10 coaches and a great big diesel up those grades without the slightest sound of a slip or falter - what a sound and what a sight!!
