Finesse is the best choice only when the bass aren't actively feeding. If they are actively feeding, you should skip finesse and use lures like spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, crankbaits, etc.

Guys I recommend finesse. I was nailing smallies all day the other day and my biggest one being a 4lber. Kevin Van Dam Strike King's Finesse worms beat em up so bad!!! Also caught a huge pike on it as well. Wow I was amazed...Get yourselves some finesse and you won't be disappointed.
