Where was the solo??? You've got the main riff down, but it sounds like you were either playing along to a live version I've never heard before, or you just threw a lot of your own improvising into this song. It definitely doesn't match the studio version of Burn. The video posted by ZZZEEEPPP2 is much better.
@Quazzga idont know if blackmore ever played that but i thought it was cool. cant put a man down for being a little bit orignal. good/better is subjective
i think that pickups like the seymour duncan ssl-4 have a fatter sound because og the big magnets, and the RBTC tone control might give a fatter sound :)
but it's harder to make chords, if you are a rhythm ( mispelled ) players, it will be harder, if you press the strings a little to hard the note will sound sharp, but for leads it's really good ( you get used to it ) just see malmsteen for example, pure lead, and remember blamore's neck is a gradual scallop, it starts less concave and become more concave as you are advancing in the neck
yea, but there is one thing i don't understand. for example in the YJM signature strat they say its got "new deeper scallops" but what is the meaning of deeper scallops if ur finger dont touch the fretboard at the first place??
I love your choice of covers, your guitar and your playing. Thank god people like you keep the memory of what Blackmore achieved alive. He was and is still the best ever!
Great job on that cover. You play your strat better than I play mine. =D

just an advice...
throw out those dull sounding Quarter Pound Pickups and replace them with Lace Sensors Gold or if you like more output with the Seymour Duncan SSL-7

Hey tsk34 for the main riff instead of heading straight for the 2nd fret try sliding from the 3rd to the 2nd frets.

Realy good playing man! I enjoyed it alot!
But.. Every phrase or as soon as you have a secound, you slide your hand up or down the neck just doin noice.
You do it 93 times during this song.
Thats 15 every minute.
Or one every 4'th secound.
I get it 'cous im a rock'n roll guitar player myself! And its cool!
But hey.. honestly man.. enough is enough ;P
Keep up the good work!

The Frets ar not flat as usual, they are a bit concave, this gives you better access to the frets, especially to the higher ones.
