  • im going to try this experiment

  • great video

  • I've been eating sweet potatoes for 20 years. Nothings happened to me yet.

  • Nice! Thanks for the info!

    ...also SO. CUTE. :D

  • Wow.. you guys want to change to "only organic" so your potatoes will grow vines before you can eat them? You guys are idiots. The chemicals are harmless to you and do nothing to anyone other than to make your potato edible for a longer period of time.

  • @Herkybirdy Keep drinking that tasty kool-aid. Your beginning to sound very informative.

  • G00gle: Chlorpropham -

Symptoms of poisoning in laboratory animals have included listlessness, incoordination, nose bleeds, protruding eyes, bloody tears, difficulty in breathing, prostration, inability to urinate, high fevers, and death.

  • This is wonderful!

  • Excellent job! Thanks for sharing such an informative experiment!

  • cuter than bunnies! But in all seriousness, organic is always the way to go

  • Good job! Hopefully, it will open many people's eyes!

  • Well Done!

  • I'm very glad she's learning. But I don't buy potatoes to sprout. I buy them to eat, and quickly. And I have many, many white potatoes that sprouted when let uncooked too long.

  • Great video, very informative, clear without big long complicated words.

I volunteer to make this video closed captioned. It's simple. I type up the words and send you a file that you upload. It takes about 30 seconds.

  • @AlanKinNA That's outstanding!! Thank you!

  • way to go!!!

  • WOW! This is why we should all eat organic!!!!

  • Hi,

This is so informative! But my school blocks Youtube. Is there any way you could email it to me? I've tried 'sharing' it to myself but still can't view it no matter what device I use b/c it's still the school wifi, and it's still blocked. Great, great video, and answers the problem I've been having trying to grow potato plants w/my 5th grade students!

    Thank you :)

  • @2berUS I'll see if I can. Otherwise sometimes your IT people can temporarily "unblock" something "for a good cause"!!

  • Great experiment. I'm impressed. Also, amazingly cute.

  • Wow! Awesome Louise!!!!!!!!!

  • GREAT job. I am astounded at the difference. Thank you for educating me about bud nip. I had no idea they did that to so many plants. I am only buying organic whenever I can possibly help it.

  • I also tried the experiment and got a horrible result.I put my potato from a bag in the water with the tooth picks&2my surprise the next day the water smelt like rotting death. It was so disgusting and opened my eyes to why so many people get cancer in this country. What ever they put on the outside of convectional potatoes is rancid when it sit sin a bowl of water. The one safe food in this world you thought might get u a little fat but u would never think could get u sick. This is a eye opener.

  • This is one of my favorite videos! No one can get there point across about how important organic food is like this little girl can!

  • LOVE IT! Will be using this to share with lots of Nutritionists at Hawthorn University and will blog about it. Please do more of these. So important for the public to see what they are eating. Tell your little girl "thank you" for me. I'm also going to send it to Dr. Mercola - I wonder if he has seen it yet? :)

  • Ok although other comments have been informative, and whether or not the chemical is used in sweet potatoes or white potatoes, the information garnered in the video re the importance of organic is important. IMHO! Good report Elise! As a homeschooling mom myself i am very impressed by your diligent research (the maybe faulty info came from the grocer) in asking the grocer (who should know) and then looking up the chemical. Kudos to you and your parents!

  • I did the same kind of experiment with apple seeds. The organic apple seeds started sprouting in a couple of days while the seeds from the apples from the supermarket never sprouted!

  • I am a fan of organic myself but, as cute as Elise is, her conclusions are incorrect. Registered dietician, Gloria Tsang, researched Elise's experiment and found that Bud Nip is not registered to be used on sweet potatoes. According to her article "Sprouting outcomes depend on many factors, notably temperature and humidity. Any changes in the environment can affect the sprouting outcomes." I have a healthy plant sprouted from a non-organic sweet potato that confirms that statement.

  • According to her article "Sprouting outcomes depend on many factors, notably temperature and humidity. Any changes in the environment can affect the sprouting outcomes." I have a healthy plant sprouted from a non-organic sweet potato that confirms that statement.

@CrlJean Yes. This video through many factors seems like indoctrination.

    1) I did this experiment as a child and bud nip didn't matter. The factors listed did.

    2) The thunder in the background when she mentions chlorpropham, spooky.

  • You know whats funny? There is no registered use for "Bud Nip" in sweet potatoes. They're used in WHITE potatoes to stop them from budding...like she said. The reason sweet potatoes sprout at different rates depends on a variety of things, the temperature and humidty they're cured at to the storage conditions they were kept in. The reason she had different rates of sprouting could be many different things but the most likely is that some were green (uncured) and some were cured...she lies!!

  • @spncnrt86 I think you must be right. We had a non-organic sweet potato on our kitchen ledge short of a month and it had sprouts 10 inches long. My granddaughter thought it was so cool that after it stopped growing (indicating it used up it's interior water) we cut it in half and put it in water to root. It is now in a pot and has yard long vines. Not organic. Grows just fine.

  • Greatest way to impact and change the world is with the youth. Beautifully done sweetie! Alysse for President!!!

  • thank you for the lesson sweetie! you have changed my entire nutrition habits and i'm a college student!

  • I think this kid knows more about "organic" than you do...

Click like to keep it up!

    /watch?feature=player_embedded&v=exBEFCiWyW0

  • thanx for the info you did an awesome presentation...

  • Would you mind if I post your video on my blog. I've been writing a post about teaching our children the importance of eating organic, and your video would be perfect for it! You did great by the way!!!

  • @furangel Absolutely:)

  • Good job baby girl! I have passed this along to all my 200 friends on Facebook.

  • @StacyCorinna Me too!

  • great video. nice work, kiddo! thanks for sharing.

  • I wanna see an experiment using bud nip too, it would probably turn that "no vine" potato into some monster.

  • You did such a great job presenting your video. It was very informative. Thank you.

  • that's awesome... great work with the experiment young lady! Maybe one day you'll be the Erin Brockovich of the produce world. :D

  • 2.27 "thank goodness its over"

  • Good for you and thank you for your information. Are you going to share this with your school? I hope so and hope all the kids let their moms know they don't want food with nasty stuff in or on it.

  • That is incredible!

  • 108 grams for a 200Lb person to be toxic at the bottom of the scale (1200mg/kg)

  • I think I'll stop eating!

  • You did great!! I like your video and shared it with my large audience. Keep up the excellent information about organic produce. My girlfriend and I do organic gardening at home and raise chickens for their eggs. They are also feed organic feed and their free range chickens living the good life. Check out my videos at my channel. Thanks.

  • Wow!!! I knew organic was good an pestacides were bad. But Jesus why are they aloud to use such brutal chemicals!??!!?? Good job little girl. Keep yourself informed.

  • This should be on national television. Amazing!

  • Only for your this much research Or what you call it.

i will start eating organic potatos only.hahhahha

kiding try to eat organic's which are available.

  • Because of this video, my kids decided to do a similar experiment, but they are getting the opposite effect... The organic sweet potato isn't growing anything and the non-organic has roots. Why? My kids are looking at me like I just lied to them :-(

  • this is a fabulous video and love to see from the eyes of a child how dangerous our food is :) send someone needs to send this to our government!!

  • This video has the potential to change what people eat! Bravo!

  • Thank you for informing me about this :D

  • What an adorable little girl with a GREAT Grandma!

  • Good job

  • I love this sweet little girl! Gives me hope, not all children are being lied to and more importantly, they aren't buying the LIES! If this doesn't wake you up, I really think you have a death wish! ♥

  • The organic potato! Good job little one!

  • Best explanation between organic vs. shipped organic vs. non-organic!! Thanks!!

  • Well, she is just adorable and VERY informative! :) We always buy organic potatoes, but I am a bit concerned at the difference between the organic store bought and the organic market bought. Makes me wonder a bit,eh? :) I'm looking for some local organic good right now! Good job sweetie!

  • "Everyone does NOT need to calm down. Everyone needs to get off their _____ like this young lady did. There are 2 lessons here. 1.) The discovery of widespread dosing of the consumer with unwanted chemicals, and 2.) how ardently idiots like Hardwyre will defend this crime against humanity."

  • Great Video!!! Our future counts on people like you, your rad!!! Quick question what is the price difference between the two? Which one is more expensive?

  • President Obama has appointed former Monsanto VP and Lobbyist Michael Taylor to become Senior Advisor to the FDA's Commissioner. This unthinkable linkage between food safety and corporate interests that have little regard for the public health must be stopped. This example of a "fox watching the hen house" is inexcusable. President Obama must reverse this unimaginably dangerous policy and isolate FDA from corporate influence.

  • You go, girl!

  • Geez....and I always thought that a budnip was a chinese stoner.

  • @superlars69 Nip is a racial slur for Japanese, get your hatred straight.

  • Are you guys from Cedar Falls?! I love the Roots store there! Great Video!!

  • @ajsmith15622 Yep:)

  • @ajsmith15622 Yep:)

  • Thanks for doing this video. I am an avid environmental activist. I did not know about this. Now that I know, I will do what I can to spread the word and get this practice stopped!

  • Nice work - powerfully presented. But I missed one thing: what is the difference between the first and second organic potatoes that accounts for the difference in the sprouting? Thanks. And keep up the good work!

  • Just curious - are you from PA? (We have a Roots farmers market here - we all pronounce it Rutz). :) Great video!!

  • @ksnyder740 We live in Iowa. BUT, we lived in Pittsburgh for 5 years:) I know all about yinz guys & "Rutz"!!!

  • So, while I like to be organic, I also think those that say the farmers only do this to make more money and don't care about people's health are wrong. Unless the onions are canned or some such, without the budnip, I guess people could only eat onions when they are in season. Or they would need to be shipped in from long distances, but that is not PC either and would also require budnip. My point, the problems and solutions are not simple.

  • Thanks for the video

I grow my own onions, but I can't eat them all at once. I harvest them once per year to eat year round. But this past year I had a big problem withe them sprouting, and so won't get to eat nearly as many onions.

  • Wonderful presentation!

You observed, compared, described and proved your point with clear and concise supporting facts! WELL DONE!!! I will have my kids do an assignment like this in Science this week for homeschool! BRAVA!

  • Everyone needs to CALM DOWN. This is a wonderful video, thank you for making it!

  • Well done on your experiment. I am most happy to see parents who support and encourage scientific curiosity and intellectualism in their children. Every time we (humanity) do that, we make the world a better place.

  • @sbbartlett40 I am curious as to if I would be able to post this on a website of mine. Could you contact me at with my username @gmail please?

  • @jlisszrii Yes, you may!

  • Good job, Elise! You did such a great job speaking to the camera and getting you're point across. You did a great job with the physical presentation of the objects, too. Keep up the good work. I hope to be voting for you for President of the United States in 30 or 40 years.

  • to all the people bashing this LOL!! they spray it yes to keep the sprouts from coming out soooo the darn thing last longer in the grocery store .so the grocery stores and farmers make more money ,They don't care it's full of chemicals .I say yuck...I always buy organic!!!

  • Thank you!! ... I learned something important today thanks to you.

  • @ineversaidiwasapoet -- check your stats. that's complete wive's tale, and misinformation. do yourself a favor and look up at the actual numbers. i will as well, becuase i should have a link ready to pass you, but the deal is the same.

  • Great job! I give you an "A+"! Local and organic is the safest and tastiest bet for both our bodies and our environment! We will be growing our own potatoes this year--along with most of our food.

  • It's always absolutely adorable when parents use their children as artillery in advancing their agenda. This is adorable propaganda.

Budnip breaks down naturally over time. The average is about 3.8mg per kg. After 85 days of storage, it drops to about <1mg per kg. Washing and peeling DO impact the final exposure dose (peeling 91-98% decrease, washing 42-48%). LD50 of 150lb human is about 127500mg or 36.9 TONS of fresh sprayed, unpeeled, unwashed potatoes in one sitting.

  • @Hardwyre No, as mentioned previously, this family did not previously consider the importance of organic; not the case at all. Believe what you will.

  • @sbbartlett40 The wording used towards the end of the video certainly implies the presence of an agenda. Believe what you will.

  • @whatevyouknow Her own conclusion. Not mine. A family member is suffering with Stage IV cancer as I write. She knows what it is.

  • @Hardwyre Kind gentle southern ladies like myself dont usually use such words... but sir you are full of manure. I have a niece about the same age as this young lady that has her own agenda. My sister does not push her at all... Dont judge.

If it breaks down so much, why then doesnt the potato sprout?

  • @Hardwyre You do realize that any exposure to this chemical is unacceptable...You can keep eating your chemical laden produce, and I will eat the produce I grow in my backyard using organic and wildcrafting techniques, and we will see who has the higher medical bills in 30 years. K?

  • @Hardwyre Did you even notice the difference in vitality between the truly organic potato and the commercially raised potato? That part probably went right over your head.

  • @Hardwyre

So basically you're ok with a chemical being added to our food(s) because you don't mind the level of dosage. Nice.

  • @Hardwyre' Do not try to justify the spraying of any chemical on our food. It it a fact that organic produce is healthier and tastes better so this should not be a surprise when a video such as this is posted. It does not matter that the child is speaking for their parents agenda. The message is the same, no matter the source.

  • @Hardwyre What a horrible agenda! How dare they teach their children about eating natural foods, as opposed to foods sprayed with chemicals. Those bastards!

  • @Hardwyre I thought this video was cute too, but also just skirting the whole issue of genetic alterations made for our food supply and how those changes may affect the future of the human race in areas besides cancer.

  • Great video , gives people a little something to think about , very wonderful thank you.

  • The demo is good for showing the effects of chlorpropham on potatoes, but about toxicity: Cornell shows toxicity for rats only >2% in food. 10 days after application, a 2001 study by C. Lentza-Rizos (Google) showed potatoes contain 0.00018% - 0.00076% (potato = 185 g). That's >26,000 potatoes/day for a neg. effect. Humans would require more.

Some people don't want even that residual 0.33-1.4 mg; others choose to weigh the risks. Personally, I would be more concerned about environmental effects.

  • Any chemical in our bodies is a bad chemical, I am responding to alZiHardstylez comment. That is why auto-immune diseases are at an all time high. Dr's are becoming over-whelmed at the presentation of some and have no idea what some are and/or how to treat. As someone with 3 auto-immune diseases I have to consider it is the chemicals in our foods, etc. I think this little girl is smart and brave. The video doesn't have to be approved she proved her theory on tape. What does the FDA do for us?

  • @0528Roxie

Actually your claim is false, which isn't surprising given the typical behavior of your caste. The body was designed to deal with toxins its exposed to. We are exposed to fewer toxins and chemicals today than we were a century ago, and yet auto-immune diseases and exaggerated immune responses are on the rise. Why? Because of the proliferation and push for the "sterile childhood". Good the "hygiene hypothesis".

Our obsession with being clean is killing our children.

  • Leave it to the uploader of this video to filter out any comments they want. That way, when people introduce truth and sense to the public, they can censor it and make themselves look better. Your attempt to promote organic food by projecting your stupidity through this girl is pathetic. The information she says shows how little you know.

  • @iniche Only filtering profanity. Otherwise, I'm happy, as I've said before, to let your peers reply.

  • @sbbartlett40 And THANK you for filtering profanity. Oh, and THANKS for this video =)

  • Wow! what an awesome project!! I think not only organic is important, but local. Better yet, start your own garden & have control over your own food! Amazing the difference between the store organic & the local organic!

  • This is wonderful! Good job on the video and I hope you got a high mark with your school assignment.

  • Such a sweet and smart girl. I am gonna start growing of own stuff. Commercial life is killing us slowly. I shared this with all my friends. Thank you for posting.

  • Wow Elise, what a good job you did! I got my 11 year old to watch with me and we both think you are very clever and thank you for posting this. Sometimes when I shop for groceries, I see the cheaper non-organic veggies and we wonder "does it really make a difference?" Now, after seeing this, we will remember it DOES make a difference! Thank you!!! Even if those people try to tell you and me that chlorophoram isn't dangerous, I'd still rather skip eating potato + chemical. :)

  • @bkoelmelbful You're actually ignorant. The amount of Chlorpropham needed to cause even minor effects in humans requires over 1000 sweet potatoes, as an example. By then you have other problems to worry about. The same applies for many chemicals applied to foods that people overreact to. This video proves nothing but how useful chlorpropham is.

  • @iniche the issue is not eating 1000 sweet potatoes, or blueberries, or cranberries, etc, at one sitting. it's that you eat it over decades. at best you overtax your liver in trying to cleanse it out of your system. at worst, it's a fat soluble substance and it accumulates over time (as does mercury).

what would be more helpful from that study from cornell would be the actual amount left in the pototo (buleberry, etc) and how it is metabolized, but i imagine that's coming.

  • It's a weed, why would a grower want weeds on their product?

Chlonorpropham isn't a 'bad' chemical, the knowledge the girl is being provided is completely wrong.

As this video has to be approved, I doubt this comment will be seen. But to the uploader, don't falsify information.

  • @alZiiHardstylez Why would I miss the opportunity for your friends to respond to your highly educated comment? Btw, it's "Chlorpropham"....and.... "weeds"???? Sigh.

  • @alZiiHardstylez No man. You're wrong. Let's put it this way: Potato growers in the US have a plot of land set aside so they can grow organic potatoes for their own consumption. She's absolutely right. The budnip and the other wash they put on the potatoes soaks all the way through the potatoes so scrubbing the potato or peeling the potato won't help. Eating non-organic potatoes will poison you. Apparently, you're NOT smarter than a 5th grader.

  • @oakland2949 Or, in this case, a 3rd grader:)

  • I read a few comments below and it seems everyone is getting caught up in the verocity of the potato. The first one didn't sprout anything because, as the produce manager stated, the veggies are SPRAYED WITH A CHEMICAL!! Who cares if it is organic, USDA certified, whatever. They are sprayed with "budnip" to avoid sprouting during delivery. True since most veggies drive 1,000 of miles over many days. But, truth is, it's to stop us from growing our own!

  • @Ratboy2004 Actually, if you did your research, you'd know that they spray it to prevent sprouting, because the potato's nutrients leave the potato and into the sprouts. There are higher risks associated with eating the sprouts than eating potatoes sprayed with Bud Nip.

  • Very well done!! Pride is when you do something and show others the results. You rock the world with this. As an award winning documentary filmmaker called 'Organic Gardening Made Easy by Lee O'Hara, his dream was to see your generation understand and apply organic know how. You have done this and I will share your link. Hugs,.Kathy

  • This is astounding!!!! It brought tears to my eyes!

I am so happy that you taped this as it is so much more impactful coming from a little gal. Thank you for posting this!

  • certification is only as good as the paperwork) - that might result in the difference seen between the 2 rooting potatoes...

  • Organic certification isn't monitored - like meat inspection is... when it says "certified organic" that just means they've filled the paperwork out to show that pesticides/herbicides haven't been used on the product - and that the area was clear of it for a certain amount of time prior to that (if I'm not mistaken - feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

However, they can still use 'organic' certified products on their crops, as well (and again, the

  • I wonder - in 2 of the glasses of water are yams - in the last glass is a sweet potato. Would that have also made a difference in the sprouting time and the type of vine that sprouted?

If there is no difference between yams & sweet potatoes in sprouting time & vine - and this experiment is a true snapshot of the different types of organic farms - then that leads to the question - how can USDA certified organic produce such different results?

  • Sad, but true...........

  • Great Job, Elise!

Any idea why the second potato didn't sprout as much as the third?

  • Good For you, that was really a fantastic science experiment with really good information!

  • Wow this girl will have a great future :)!

  • THANK YOU

  • This girl deserves an award! You go girl!

  • I'll take my produce without shit growing on it.

  • @bascuit1 Apparently, you weren't paying attention. The keep the potatoes from sprouting eyes during transit, they spray a chemical on it. Most chemicals are poison to the human body.

And when you post on a little kid's youtube page, you probably shouldn't swear.

  • This is so good, Elise. Thank you for conducting your experiment and sharing it with the world!

  • Thank you, very, very, much for this information.

  • This is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

  • I assume they use the BudNip in order to stop produce from sprouting during transport and while it sits on the grocery store shelves, which means they'd be able to sell older produce. Not good.

  • @4theloveofitall That's true but unfortunately, the main reason of Monsanto is to force farmers to buy their GMOseeds and prevent them to produce and reproduce food in a self-sunstainable way.

  • That was very interesting. Thank you for taking time to do the experiment and then posting results for us. Very well done!!

  • I love this video!!! the little girl is so adorable =) I'm so glad to see more and more people becoming aware of the world we are now living in. What this little girl and her grandmother just discovered is just the tip of proverbial ice berg. All this is part of a bigger plan. I implore everyone to dig a little deeper. Search on youtube and Google for U.N. "Agenda 21". The is a REAL Detailed Plan by the United Nations for Global Depopulation.

  • Great video and message. It's crazy what they put in our food these days. And let's not be fooled by the talk about how the levels of so-and-so are too small to harm humans ... That's what they said about lead and PBA's.

  • Well done young lady! excellent experiment, someday read "pottenger's cats", keep up the excellent work!

  • I sincerely believe that the more people buy Organic, the more the prices will go down. We the consumers have the power to influence this situation. We just need to focus it in the right direction.

  • Awesome job Elise. Thank you for your good presentation. Good luck to you in the future.

  • very cute little girl with a very important subject.

  • thank you for making this video, alise! the results are really amazing...i hope you keep making videos of other experiments about things big companies do can that effect our health. i hope you grow up to be a scientist and help us make better choices in our lives! thanks again...

p.s. dont ever stop questioning what the government and big companies do, and always keep learning, and dont let school get in the way of your education! its kids like you that give hope for the future!

  • Awesome experiment!

  • What a smart girl. You did a great job on you'r video honey!

  • What's the big deal if her parents gave her this project to do so she could learn about something that affects us every fay? I don't get it, please explain. A lot of people seem to be upset that her parents might have given her this project. But I don't get what the big deal is if they did or did not. My parents used to give me puzzles or tell me riddles they knew the answer to for the purpose of teaching me how to "figure interesting things out."

  • Well done young one! It is showing that we all need to be aware of what we eat & where it comes from. .. be aware .... do your own research ... do not "kill" the messenger. ♥*¨*•♫♪ ♥ ♪♫•*¨*♥• (✿◠‿◠) ♥ ✿☆

  • This is excellent, great info! Very well done for such a young person. I think the difference between the corporate grocery store vs. the independent market is that the big business chains probably adhere to the bare minimum federal requirements to call their organic produce "organic" - lobbyists and corporate executives with positions in the FDA and USDA have taken great pains to stretch the meaning of the word - whereas the independent grocer produces 100% organic foods.

  • Nice work.

  • I have a lot of problems with my Alberta grown potatoes sprouting in the bag without the benefit of water. Based on that single datapoint I conclude that everyone should buy all organic products from Alberta including potatoes, beef, and oil and gas or else they will probably die a horrible death of cancer at around 20 years of age. That's at least as valid of a conclusion as the one made in this video.

  • @puzeym moron

  • It killed the animals they tested it on and it even causes tumors. When are we gonna stop doing this to animals? not to mention people. I have a word for those folks... but I am not gonna say it.

  • SOOO adorable.

  • this little girl is sooo cute!

  • When it is practicable, always eat organic, non GH food.

  • My son (7 years) has a class project and I wanted him to see this video. Still on of my favorites on this entire site!! Nice work Alyse!! Continue to spread the truth about Bud Nip until they shut you down!!

  • great work kid! i used to call my wife "organic crazy b****" but this video reminded me to shut up, once more. i'm now supporting our local organic farmers, nearby villagers who grow extra veggies etc. to sell in farmer markets, rather than buying from big-size grocery chains. i recommend you all to do the same, if possible.

    (response is from West Turkey)

  • To the girl in the video: thank you for being inquisitive about your world and showing people the interesting (shocking!) things you found out. I love seeing not only the value of buying organic but of taking the extra trouble to purchase at farmers markets. I needed that. Thank you very much for sharing.

  • Great Job!!!

  • Loved this, are you homeschooling by any chance? Either way, exceptional work, and so very eye opening and thought provoking for the public in general, love the purity and innocence in your daughter! Whats that quote "And a child shall lead us.." or "through the mouthes of babes"

    so inspiring! thank you!

  • @thginkyrrej on an acute exposure... but what happens oon a chronic exposure? I know it's shocking, but some people actually eat their fruits and veggies on a daily basis.

  • Great job, girl!

I think you could be on the cusp of the first seriously impactful viral video.

(Do you have a good lawyer?)

  • @flybd5 - You clearly missed the point. The child didn't say to eat the vines/sprouts and don't peel the potato. Produce absorbs chemicals, just as we do. Do you really think chemicals only stop at the skin/1st layer? No, we eat what the fruit/veggie eats. The point: If it's not growing the "natural" way then it's NOT natural and we shouldn't be eating it. If you poured the herbicides, pesticides, etc all in a cup that was used in the non-organic produce you ate would you drink it? I doubt it.

  • This is a nice effort by a little girl to investigate the world around her; unfortunately the conclusions aren't really based on the experiment she did.

"With all of the chemicals, no wonder so many people are being diagnosed with cancer." An unfortunate consequence of promoting "all-natural" foods, is that people forget that plants and animals are MADE OF chemicals. Some plants are poisonous, some aren't. Some chemicals are, some aren't.

  • @dhawkins1234 I'll drink to that. Pour me a safe glass of chlorpropham.

  • WOW, thats insane

  • Nicely done, and great to see a child's intellectual cursiosity at work. It would be nice if the audio could be improved so this could be used in classrooms, etc.

  • ToneItUpcom brought me here =)

  • Well done! I hope you got an A+ on your science project!

  • that's weird, chlorpropham isn't approved for use in the USA. Hmmmm....

  • @tlynch001: Ever checked where your fruit and veggies
