its december 31 2009. which means, this CUSTOM was done BEFORE the 2011 Dark of the moon movie.

THirdly, it was SOUNDWAVE who was a mercedez benz SLS AMG.

Fourthly, this is a CUSTOM toy, meaning, this is my version of what I THINK i like my shockwave to be IF there was an ROTF line.

Third, Shockwave is actually a gun in the ORIGINAL transformers. This is just a creative figure made to be him if he was a car. CREATIVITY, something it appears you don't have.

well lets see, he has stubby arms, his legs are hindered by the knee with that piston thing behind the shins as well those rubber tubes in front of his hips, on mine (which my uncle got me) the head never sit properly so its all bent and scratched up, and its a shellformer which a shellformer has a nice clean robot because all the kibble is in a nice clean pack and sideswipe doesn't do that!

also the car mode i dont like being a concept car, it looks much to fragile to be a bot.

that "orange peel" texture occurs because your paint dried as it was setting in. to correct this, you can 1)sand the primer before spraying and 2) do not overpaint and let the coat dry completely before applying the glossy coat.

it is a fairly decent custom...it is kinda lacking some paint apps and i guess the color is more like the alternator shockblast scheme rather than the G1 shockwave.

it would have been better if the head (camshaft) is colored as close as that of g1 shockwave and also the laser cannon of g1 shockwave and other incarnation (e.g. alternator, energon etc...) is on his left...

This custom was actually an accident. I wanted a blue sideswipe, but i came out more looking like shockwave. So, i decided to change his head, and attach an LED to his arm.

i tried transfering the "shell car parts" to sideswipe and it fit's damn well, to my surprise!

yeah, i did this. What i meant by "They did this" is because im making a comparison of the original Sidewipe mold than this used-to-be-KO figure.

the windshield was already clear purple. so, i only had to apply some thinner and kerosene to take out the paint on the roof.
