  • That's some serious dukking. I had an albino ferret that was very vocal too. His name was "Mr. Pooterwinkles". Because he was the stinkiest thing when we brought him home from vegas. I'm in CA. the nazi state were ferrets, hedgehogs and many other pets are illegal.

Poots made the grunt noises mostly all the time. Very whiney.

  • do ferrets poop everywhere if you let them out

  • @MrSokkrokker not usually lol

  • I NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is one noisy ferret :)

Or maybe my ferret is just unusually quiet...

  • my ferret does the weasel war dance when ever i play this

  • my ferret looks exactly like this

  • DAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW,

SHE HIT HER CUTE WITTUL HEAD ON THE CAMERAAAAA!!!

    AAAWWWWWWW

  • I played this and my ferrets went into "intruder alert" mode immediately :D

  • Wow, didn't know that ferrets do noises ! What does this one mean ? :)

  • @CistudeSuisse It means that its excited and playful.

  • @CistudeSuisse "I'm happy!"

  • So is this noise good or not? My ferret was making the same noise and it worried me I've only had her for a couple days so everything she does worries me lol :b

  • @kaylieyanez It means the ferret is excited or happy! It's definitely a good noise.

  • Dook!

  • 0:06 TESTEPOP XD

  • thats the noise they make, i hope my mom deosnt here it when i get one

  • I was wondering I am thinking about getting a ferret and I will let them out to play as much as I can but is it hard to catch them when its time to put them back in the cage?

  • @DMalice24 I think that put a ferret in a cage is very sad, mine lives in my room and he's so happy, many people said that is for keeping them safe because they could eat dangerous things as plastic but my ferret never bite anything beside his food, but this is just my opinion :)

  • @beer996 See thats actually a very good idea considering they can be litter trained. I just wouldnt want it chewing through stuff but I dont know how I would go about training it not to considering I cant be around all day to watch it.

  • @DMalice24 yh i can't wait to get mine and i have handled them i had work experiance in a pet shop recently if u want to ask me about em lemme know send me a message as for catching them u need to move slow and go for the scruff of the neck

  • @weasle999 My ferret just did the exact same thing! Then took a poop. xD

  • my ferret looks exactly like yours

  • Awww he's adoreable!! This is why I want a ferret so badly!!

  • Aww so cute. He's dooking so loud.

  • are you sure thats a ferret or hyena? XD

    super cute!

  • wow he is talking up a storm! :)

  • I love the sound (dooking). Sorry to hear about your ferret passing away. This is the first 3 legged ferret I have seen. Was it born that way?

  • i want a ferret. don't they really bad though. someone please respond.

  • lol i love when my Ferret starts Dooking :P

  • lol my ferret is in hes cage or.. should i say castle, and hes VARYnintrested in this sound :P

  • Lol my ferrets make more of a donka than a dooka ... but lmao.

Ever wake up in the middle of the night to dooka donka in your ear? Lol it totally freaks me out until I realize what it is .. and then its sooo cute!

  • my ferret does the same noise

    lolz

    haha

  • aw i showed my ferrets this and she stared at the computer

  • I'm so gonnah show my Romeo:)

  • i didn't know they sounded like that!!! that's so adorable!

  • thats one pissed off ferret!...he also very vocal...wow

  • @porpoisefathom That noise doesn't necessarily mean that they are upset. My ferrets make that noise when they are excited and chasing their toys.

  • @savlynne same here

  • @porpoisefathom

My two fuzzies dooka/donka all the time while playing. Never with toys though. Trust me they aren't scared or upset. Then again my little ones also hiss while playing .. but never seem scared or upset. I honestly think its cause the older one was raised around my cat ... and that was the only noise they both could make. Thus it's carried over to the new one.

I know my little ones really well, and they never dooka/donka when scared.

  • DOOK DOOK :3

  • @iBolt07 thats what i called my ferrets Mr dook a dook and Mrs dook a dook great little mates to have a so smart,

  • @22masterchief roflcopter. :D

  • I was going to get one for christmas but then my grandpa said im not letting that smell thing in my house we said to them you can get stink balls takeing out.

  • @finalorpheus41 you mean deglanded?

  • My ferret only hisses when annoyed... But she makes that noise when she's chasing her favorite toy. :]

  • now i just got my ferrets today and they do not make that sound

  • @momen8tor they usually make different sounds when playing or excited

  • Awwwww...

May Mr. Ferret rest in two pieces. :-(

  • Usually this noise means they are annoyed. our only female makes that noize when the makes wind her up. They are all neutered/spayed before anyone asks and they happily come in the house and run together....apart from when tosca is in a bad mood. Then she makes that noise to tell them off.

  • @conhson1 wat iz wrong with u???

  • I showed this to my ferrets and they went crazy. it was cute, they were trying to play with this ferret

  • @ArchiesAngel1228 my baby princess did to my grown male apollonir cud care less he was DFSing

  • @ArchiesAngel1228 i did the same thing x-P awwwwww

  • @ArchiesAngel1228 @weasle999

Lol, my fuzzbutts did the same thing.

    "o'/cccccccccccc

That was one of them crawling across the keyboard to find your ferret.

  • @ArchiesAngel1228 Ferrets are the cutest pets! Adoreable and so playful.

  • @mattwhitey94 best way is to scruff or scruff and drag with a hiss. This is how their momma would teach them manners. Never flick them as that could cause damage, also could make them fear bitters too!

  • @qwertyiopxyz NO! Never flick a ferret on the nose. It will cause damage. you scruff them with a firm "NO"

  • My ferret just did the cutest thing watching this, he was on my lap and then jumped at the sound and started looking for the ferret around the computer speaker :)

  • @weasle999 so

  • @weasle999 Haha, Diego (My ferret) just did the same. I feel bad now, maybe I'll get him a companion at some point, lol.

  • @NiNo89 I've been thinking about getting a companion for my little six year old ferret, I thought I could get him a spayed female to play with but when I started looking into it all the abandoned ferrets at shelters all seemed to be around one year old, I want an older animal because I don't know how he'd react to a baby and when he passes away I'll be left with the same problem, an older ferret with with no ferrets its age to play with.

  • @weasle999 mine did the same lol!!

  • @mattwhitey94 You can also scruff them, thats the natural way of a mother saying no.You scruff them by Crabbing the loose skin at the back of thee neck and holding them by it. (Put your hand under them so they aren't dangling and cn support themselves)

  • @qwertyiopxyz that is actually a bad thing to do. the best thing is the grab it by the scruff and hiss at it. thats what its momma would do

  • Once my ferret starts dooking, he will start play biting himself, it is rather amusing haha

  • oh she is so adorable!

  • @mattwhitey94 Personally I'd scruff them for a minute. Flicking their nose hurts them, as they're sensitive.

  • @LadyBloodhart How do you scruff them? I know if I'm walking by my ferret he will try to bite my feet sometimes. But he is a pretty calm ferret. He responds to kiss because If I'm holding him and I say kiss he will immediately turn his head to give you a kiss.

  • thats a cute noise

  • Get to da choppa... and snuggle it!

  • ahahahhha he died

  • @dudewatda3 you thik that's funny? there is something seriously wrong with yo.

  • @metallica1310 nikkah u didnt lemme me finish my sentence, the ''ahahaaha'' was for the ferret noise cuz its funny and the part ''he died'' i forgot to put a sad face :(

  • @mattwhitey94

and second it can get them more excited. Which will only make him nip more.

Instead you need to talk to them in their own language.

Gently scruff your ferret and hiss at him In ferret this means no or back off same as with a cat. Scruffing makes him understand that you are the boss. mother ferrets do this to teach their kits. add a stern "no biting" and after awhile he'll get it. :)

  • @qwertyiopxyz: You should never hit or flick a ferret. First it's possible to harm them that way.

and second it can get them more excited. Which will only make him nip more.

  • But it's just so much fun to punch a ferret in the face.

  • @mattwhitey94 NEVER flick a ferret on the nose. They're smart, simply continue to tell the ferret, "no". I used to flick mine until I was corrected.

  • @mattwhitey94

    also @qwertyiopxyz

NEVER flick a ferret on the nose for biting - or anything else for that matter. The best method is a short 2-5 min time out, or a gentle scruff. Their noses are very sensitive. Ferrets naturally mouth when they play and just have to be taught that they can't do this with people. A time out works well, but it takes time and you MUST be consistent or you will just confuse them.

  • @qwertyiopxyz

Don't flick your ferret, you can injure them and this also makes them quite aggressive. The proper way to deal with a Ferret that nipped you too hard to to gently grab them back the back of their neck and hiss at them, this is what their mother would have done, keep in mind Ferrets have very thick skin and this will NOT harm them, flicking them can!

  • @Dethell yeah cuz im relly gonn fking hiss at a ferret , your full of shiit!

  • @dudewatda3 k then flick it on the nose and see how much your ferret likes you. your probably a bad owner for flicking it on the nose. at least my ferret loves me and i know it

  • @squeemishly1 no it doesnt love u, it loves the food u give it. i dont just flick it on the nose, i slap it's head or pinch the neck, or throw it on to the wall to toughen it up and to obey

  • @dudewatda3 why dont you try pulling off its skin and throwing it in a pot of boiling water. that usually makes them obey better than flicking it o0n the nose

  • @squeemishly1 yea i totally agree, i might just try that. ill even drown it and kick it around till it's half dead and after that hang it up on a tree and beat it with a stick, that should teach it a lesson. flicking it on the nose or hissing on it wont do shit! if ur a ferret owner these are perfect examples of how u make ur ferret obey and smarten up

  • Comment removed

  • @dudewatda3 dude thats fucking animal abuse, whats ur problem? pets are ur friend not something to beat. if u want to hit something try a punching bag or urself cuz thats horrible

  • @qwertyiopxyz NEVER!!! Don't EVER do that. Ever. Not even a simple flick. If he nips, let out a sharp YIP, this lets them know it hurts. If you have been doing this to your ferret, it is probably afraid of you.

  • Why does my ferret only make that sound when I play tag with it?

  • @JhProductions457 It just means he's excited, in a mood for play. Nothing to worry about.

  • @dazkid33 I know that I just wanted to know why she didn't do it as much this ferret

  • @mattwhitey94 Actually, if you want the best results take them from the scruff and hiss at them. That is what their parents do to tell them off.
