how does the 97 kodiak 400 handle the 29.5's i got a 1998 kodiak 400 4x4 and im lookin for some outlaws but as is im running on crap 23 inch tires lol im wanting 27's because i think anything more would be too big for a 400 and plus i want to be able to ride on gravel roades as well as snow mud and hill climbing

i bet by now you're wishing you would've kept the big bear.i would never go from a big bear to a brute.i've owned both,and the brute is garbage always working on it.now i ride a '97 kodiak 400 with 29.5's stock looking for 31's i got h/l select.

na it was time for the bigbear to go cause it had 3600 miles on it lol. But the only thing ive had problems with the brute is i broke 2 axles and 2 belts but thats cause i ride the crap out of it lol

@76chrisb had a big bear 350 but as long as you can control your thumb there is no real issue with them there just under built for the power they have

big bear is one of the best small bore bikes u can get a few mods an u have a strong bike that will turn any atv tire out there decently im currently workin on slappin some 31s on my rancher 350 yall look for a video a few months from now for it

looks like some pretty nasty stuff there..what engind did you swap into that big bear to turn those 31's? hahahah..my last atv was an 06' big bear 400 and it hat power issues with 27" gators..
