You could have tuned E of the Fagot or whatever it is, though. That one is much worse than the other ones. Nice piece, but I can't agree entirely on the wonderfullness of mr. Van Vliet.

You're completely right! But it's logical: the church building is warmer (heat from people and heating) during the service than normally. The organ is tuned for the service-temperature. Espacially the reeds of this organ are very sensitive for changes in temperature. But I have chosen to use this reed because it makes the melody more audible for the auditor.
