  • I've listened a lot to your dharmatalks. Downloaded them from "DIY Dharma".

  • I'll watch this again. It's amazing how you feel after seeing this.

  • i had such a deep meditation after this talk

  • I am the turtle with the mustasch! :P

  • Excelent =)

  • Thank you for everybody who took pain to telecast this video through the internet. may all you blessed by the triple gem....!!!!!

  • this is great i really enjoy listening to him. Finally i am getting some good understanding about the Buddhism.

  • Everyone who is complaining here might consider watching the video. This was excellent. Thank you Ajahn Brahm and BSWA.

  • Who is this fruitcake offering "friendly advice" ... (is this the 'friendliness' that carries knives)? Peddling Islam in this context of elevated discourses) is shameful... eat your own dogmatism, but please spare us that annoyance!

  • @sensibilita88

when you point your finger at someone ('that fruitcake'), three of your fingers are pointing back at you. It shows were your faith is at.

  • i wouldn't say that 9/11 was a distortion ?!?

  • This is so true, great talk!! thanks!

  • Thanks for posting these vids...I'm enjoying them very much; I also recommend his talk on "fear".

  • The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion, The religion which based on experience, which refuses the dogmatic. If there's any religion that would cope with scientific needs it will be Buddhism.... Albert Einstein

  • what do you mean by fruitcake? defend buddhism with kind words. If you mean to call the person a gay by saying fruitcake as I think you meant, remember that there are gay buddhists too and gays are just as good as anyone else. Why should you use gay as an insult? If you didn't mean to call him a gay then even though you may know that, others may get the connotation that you are. There's no need to call names anyways and I don't understand why this country uses gay as an insult.

  • Listen, this guy has his comment removed (7 minuses); I call him 'fruitcake' because he is peddling Islam in this forum on sublime Buddhist discourses. I don't care whether he is 'gay' or not (though you are rather touchy here... and off-topic)!

So try to focus on other things than your own sensations, man!

  • AJB's talk on Silence is helpful in my journey as well. I really cringe when I hear the simplistic platitudes of the happiness inductry as well, eg: 'just be positive' as if happiness is like an Act that gets passed through Parliament, buy this book, go on this retreat u will be happy, its all a diversion from the reality of emptiness and dissatisfaction...usually someone profits and gets counted as a type of guru. Buddhism has helped me find a way to peace

  • I love your videos. Thank you for enlightening us and the funny joke!

  • listening to the words of this teacher and dwelling in meditation is helping me unlock and heal and connect to my true self, thank you so much I can say I am happy those around me can't believe the change and neither can I , I feel joy and compassion, the strengh of my hate ,rage violence is being replaced with compassion, tenderness strengh and forgivness. Love to you the reader, forgive me for taking so much of your time... will meet you in the stillness... thank you Ajahn.

  • I had looked at buddhism before and something resonated within me but its claim that meditation would help, to seek within ... well I found it to simplistic and my ego discarded it.

Don't get me wrong if you met me you would probably never have known how contorted in pain I have been as I smiled and chatted and tried to fool you. ...I have surrended, let go understood my pain and forgiven myself,

  • 3 days ago I was violent abusing my girlfriend verbally screaming over house chores damaging my son ...seeing it but unable to change drinking and trying to recover from mild drug abuse and dependance, raised in a strict christian background, I was confused miserable and in pityful pain, I wanted to end it all before I damaged those around me and those that still loved me.

  • why are we born? we are born so that we will not have to be born again.

  • Great talk about the Joy and Happiness we still feel as we learn to accept our suffering and changes. There are some good jokes and humorous moments in this monks speech.

  • One of the best buddhist speeches I've heard so far. Ajan Brahm is very humorous and precise in the examples he mentions.

  • I had already watched this video, but I've enjoyed watching it again.

    Thank you Ajahn Brahm :-)

  • Thank you for another enlightening talk. Your explanation and amusing anecdotes brighten my day.

This particular talk made simple truth and cleared some of the confusion we have in our "complicated" time saving lives.

  • This is from two months ago, does anyone know if there have been any more recent videos?

  • Hi neowolf2012

Unfortunately you are right the latest videos are two months old. However if you go into the Buddhist Society of western Australia, they have many mp3 talks and videos. I posted their link but YouTube would not allow it. Anyway, best wishes. I hope this may be of use.
