@phillyspartanfan When I was a senior at Indiana in '87, we went 8-2 and beat each Michigan and Ohio State. Bill Mallory was the coach. He knew that, when you have a program at the bottom of the conference, you have to red shirt almost every player. IU is getting the player not wanted by the big programs. This doesn't mean IU can't compete. The players just must be red shirted and involved in a serious weight training program their freshman, red shirted, year.
Good God, will Indiana ever do ANYTHING in football? They're like the Cleveland Browns of the Big Ten.
