@sosolamise you only have to dig, dig, and dig more down (for the entrance) then you go up. The water will not flow in. After, you can dig to where is the ocean, and make a big window with glasse (and glowstone, why not?) It would be AWESOME to see it from the path you just built, no?

You can place redstone torches under powered rails but the rail has to be placed on the block above the torch before you place the torch down.
