  • so are you saying that if i choose a truck with 4.10 instead of 3.73 that the 4.10 will be better at pulling because there would be a smaller gear spinning more times than the 3.73 4.10 is 4 and 1/10 rotations instead of 3.73 being 3 and 73/100 rotations?

  • @WANAGOSCUBADIVE That's correct...

  • this guy has down syndrome

  • WTF!!!!!!

  • I changed the ratio in my car from 3.34 to 3.08. Somebody gave me the idea to do it because it saves gas and I did it. Is this a big difference? I do feel slower acceleration but seem to go faster on the freeway. I have noticed that my spedometer shows about 70mph when my actual speed is about 80mph. I am wondering if there is a gear ratio between 3.08 and 3.43 available for my car. A 1989 pontiac firebird.

  • @gmatamoros What you feel is normal. Faster at freewat speeds, dog on hills and from a dead start. Your speedometer will be off as you discovered. With the 89 you most likely have a gear driven cable. So you will need a new gear from a dealer. It's not a big job at all to change out.

  • that is what we study in our college (univercity of technology) in baghdad

    thanks for this lecture
