Balls will shrink because the body see other androgens as testosterone and since aas have much greater anabolic/androgenic effect than testosterone, there is no reason for the body to produce its own, causing balls to atrophy. The reason being because steroids maximizes your testosterone; which is produced.. obviously from your balls. So imagine your nuts pumping out testosterone double the amount of its normal production. Naturally after a while they will shrink because of the heavy pounding they are taking and output. Your cock obviously doesn't produce testosterone so it wouldn't shrink. Since your balls shrink they just stereotype it as the whole package shrinking. Just thought I put that out there.

When you take anabolic steriods, the balls are not required to pump out more testosterone; that is what the drugs are for. What occurs is an influx of testosterone in the body leaves the testicles (the body's main testosterone producer) without a job. So, without any function due to an already necessary amount of steriods in the body, the testicles shrink. Just though I put that out there.

@LatinoShinobi You inject testosterone (you don't make anymore) so your body recognizes it has enough test already and production in your balls stops which causes them to shrink because they are unused. However if you cycle properly, they will return to normal after you stop injecting, as they will need to be the primary source of testosterone again. Pro hormones I believe do what you were saying but not shrink balls. Your dick has muscles and will likely get bigger if anything

@LatinoShinobi You should study more, much more. Not all steroids maximize testosterone, in matter effect only testosterone itself will do this (exogenous). Roids are derivations of the molecule and hold common characteristics like nitrogen retention , and red blood cell count elevation. Your balls will shrink with time and constant use because the negative feedback (body mechanism) on the pituitary, so your balls take no "pounding", in fact is the opposite. This can be corrected with HCG use.

Your nuts shrink because when you inject large amounts of test your body stops producing it completely, that is why they shrink. It also makes you infertile for a while because you have no sperm, if you take steroids in your teens or before you are 20, the infertility may become perminant, depends if you are lucky or not
