It's impossible to completely translate everything from Japanese to English. There is just some terminology and phrases that don't make sense in English, so subbers have to compensate by adding some extra things. The subs are fine though, they still get the general story across.

@willardlol I agree with you, but at the same time I feel like companies tend to patronize the audience by dumbing things down and using common English idioms in place of their foreign counterparts.

Like, they just assume we don't know a little about the Japanese language and culture.

Can't make everyone happy though.

I gotta say I like the fansubs better than FUNimation's subs. A lot of FUNimation's lines seem awkward; I assume they're just pasted from their dub scripts?

subs arent that great funimation does put subs from there dub scripts and fan sub are not always 100% wat the anime says some just translate and put in there own words than wat the anime says
