@pyrokiddie do you still play or did you get bored? I'm wondering if I should get this... Its seems assume that you just get random world pvp, but seems to lack variety

@Vendnmachine actually i just came back to this game and its been really good so far. Theres people running around pvping, people harvesting and pveing waiting to be killed :) people taking open world objectives (like village control points or the big ship battles at the sea towers) or big sieges.

All in all dfo is in a good way atm and the population is climbing back up. Well worth a try!

erm maybe your mistaken they completly revamped magic graphics now :)

@pyrokiddie cc=crowd control, abilites like stun/sleep/silence/slow, i have only seen blind so far, or that bubble that makes u fly is kind of slow spell, stopping enemys(but i guess barely people use it that way)

CC skills are lame imo but there are skills like wall of force (the bubble) that traps you inside, blinds (like eyerot, pungent mist, impale, flames of vengance - the list goes on and on.

Dont forget about knockback spells like stormblast, begone, shrapnel

Also melee attacks (sieze / knockback)

Other spells include come hither...

Think that in the nicest way possible you are completely wrong.

@pyrokiddie i wrote basically the same, only blinds and bubble, and bubble is not even used in fights to slow

so here probably everyone takes same skills, making everyone nearly the same class, only difference is in the levels of skills, item values, and player skills, so it seems to get boring after a while with not much possibilities, but since i havent tried i wouldnt know, but from an outsiders perspective this is what shows, so id rather start eve online with infinite possibilities better.

er bubble is used to slow/stop people from moving^^

and like i said theyres pully and pushy spells

other spells like debuffs make mages fail more spells and archers shoot slower.... i cant think of what CC spells arnt in this game^^ and while everyone has access to every spell (unless you specialise) so do you in eve. Its about knowing when and how to use each of the 1000 or something spells/skills :)

Awesome video man, both 1 and 2. You got some skills. I'm about 4 months in on the NA-1 server. Dwarf Melee / Archery. Really wished I would've found this game when it first came out, pretty pissed i didn't play it earlier. Best game I've ever found, it's like what i've been waiting for. Do you play on NA or EU?

In Darkfall there is no classes and no levels. Instead you level skills; which means you can form your character to be good at whatever you want, so mixing melee combat with mage spells is very common. in other words, All characters can do both melee/archery/spells, you just practice need to level the skill up to accually get GOOD at it =)

@TheWarPlanet no levels! and the pvp is the best pvp ive ever experienced in any game. Better than wow/eve/aion/starwars/mortal online etc.

it takes about 1-2months to be able to do well in solo pvp but by about 1 week in you can easily help your clan/friends in group pvp :)

Wired Miracle plays in China or something. He has terrible ping, and pretty much only uses melle. I've seen him farming the same spot in Ork lands for months, and he's linked me like hundreds of thousands of gold before. He's a bit of a nub and a total gold farmer, but he has maxed melle mastery and like 500 health.

I remember my brother pissed him off so bad that he naked zerged Andruk whilst it was held by Invictus for hours from the local starter town.
