@andytse101 ahahhahahaha ABC.... hahhahaha awesome! he said before : this is a new song... skyfire... I HOPE! for sure was one of first time playing this song on a stage hahahaha
actually, i'm new to youtube and couldn't find where to put this question: Back in the 80's, Alcatrazz had a top song that played on the radio about 7 times a day. It began with what sounded like a helicopter flying by, followed by an awesome lead guitar intro. i'm looking for the title of the song and album.
The song is Hiroshima Mon Amour and the album is No Parole From Rock'n Roll.I didn't remember the helicopter alike sound intro, that was on the song Kree Nakoorie but it wasn't a single.
The BEST music Steve Vai did was his lone record with Alcatrazz... never been issuen on cd as far as I know. My vinyl copy is scratched to death but what can one do. Fookn great.
I think the vocals were dubbed in. He's singing awfully well compared with all the other videos.

that vai solo is fucking SLICK!!!!

Graham's vocals were so much better when Vai was in the band because he didn't have to compete with Yngwie's 20 Marshall stacks for stage volume!!!!
I love this period of Alcatrazz.....Vai is brilliant

I loved them both, but Yngwie's album with the band is more fun to me...

Already in those days Steve Vai had a the Floyd Rose locking tremolo and the mic coil splits. Awesome Steve Vai did a great job replacing Yngwie.
