  • Nice!

  • he sounds like antwuan dixon

  • This dude is sick

  • Why he didn't use the lick in the groove???

  • cool!!!!!

  • 5:34 fucking nice!!!!

  • @marcoladrum This is a gospel thing and you feel the need to come on here and swear. Why?

  • @blakezv5snyper Thank you blake! There's no need for the profanity marcoladrum lol.

  • Love it. Talented dude!

  • hes left handed

  • Cool way of throwing in the cymbals on the third beat into this fill. I developed this FRLRLL fill but usually play it as F, floor tom, rack tom, snare, then the last LL as ghost notes on the snare. Or as F, cymbal, snare, cymbal and last LL as ghost notes on the snare.

  • I love how most gospel drummers refer to other gospel drummers as "cats" lol.fun.

  • @ilovetruthdrumzzz hendrix used that term... old slang

  • this dude is tight!!!

  • Top Quality

  • the good thing is, no matter what you do, cats aren't gonna notice it. I love cats.

  • What you are doing is called a linear triplet. That's all it is. Didn't read any prior post because I'm on the phone so I apologize IF this had already been mentioned. Otherwise, very nice triplet fills!

  • Who does he play with

  • @MOGDrummer This group named seek first the kingdom......SFK!!!!!

  • SICK!!!

  • this guy shreds

  • What's he doin at 5:09?!

  • My dude FIG Newton... Such a beast doc... SMH LOLOL @ 5:01 w/ that Beyonce Whip My Hair drum swagg... -Clyde Frazier III

  • thx man ! Gonna practice this !

  • OMG...thanx Bruh!! I really appreaciate this lick... I've been trying to learn how these kattz do that!! I am gonna master it and call it the "TFN" lick!!

  • #FTW

  • KRLRLL

  • sweeeeet!

  • is thic lick played as triplets or sixteenth notes? great drumming and lick btw =]

  • @javier20893 When he's playing the lick at times he's playing it as 1/32nd notes and at other times as 1/16 note triplets.

It is based on a grouping of 6 notes. if you play it as an even grouping of six notes per beat in a bar of 4/4 it would make a perfect bar of 1/16 note triplets. (Being 24 notes)

If you play it four times over three 1/4 note beats (Still being 24 notes) it would be three beats of 1/32nd notes. You could then simply finish the bar of with 4e+a etc.

    Hope this helps.

  • @the12345joker awesome explanation man , thank you very much, it really does help =]

  • Some of you guys need to listen. If he played it any slower, you wouldn't understand

the lick.. It was real clear to me & I only play for fun.. I'll add this lick to my drum vocabulary.. Stick with the playing & leave out the personal attacks. life is too short..

  • lol he plays this fill over and over and as slow as a drummer can - whats your problem ? if you cant extract the information that you need than its not his fault for sure !

  • what series of soultone is that crash?

  • Comment removed

  • @4ceboi Its a Gospel

  • This dude is sick. He's SO fluent with his flams and his doubles. So smooth you wonder if you're EVER going to get that good. He crashes with his left hand most times to enable him to crash at an uneven syncopated interval in the measure. Watch his GC drum off finalist clip if you haven't.

  • I'm going this one! Thanks,... oh and nice drumming! :)

  • He can't explain what he's doing. It's sad to see great players who are illiterate.

  • @RivalScout ..... i wouldnt say its is " sad " .... not everyone can articulate exactly what they are doing .... also , at least he is able to play it slowly ... some cats can only play their hot licks at a million miles an hour

  • @RivalScout i think he break it down perfectly..

  • Is he sponsored by soultone?!

  • nice1 mate

  • bass sounds raw

  • Ohhh I know this lick now, that's a sick stroke roll more or less. But this has more of a gospel feel to it.
