I can't speak for this machine, however, I generally use a korg electribe SmkII. It's a rhythm production sampler, so it allows you to really create the drums however you like. It's more work however. If I'm recording/creating drum lines for a whole song, then I usually record small pieces (samples) and copy and paste for hours to get that "feel" as opposed to looping.
nice song man. i'm thinking of getting an SR16..Is it worth the $150? it sounds pretty damn good, but this will be my first drum machine. i have a set, but it's just too spacious and loud and whatnot. so yeah, send me a msg pls ? again, good song.

ya the Alesis SR-16 Stereo Drum Machine is definetly worth the money, just got one along with some speakers and it kicks ass
