  • lol , 0:53 wait you forgot to unplug it

  • bitch you out of fuel , your batterys fine

  • Why is some of this awesome stuff discontinued?

  • when is saw this i thought it meant how to literally jump out of your car without jumper cables and i thought, why would i need jumper cables to jump out of a car so i clicked and slapped my forehead and said, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH, now i see!"

  • Would this product work with the Power Dome EX Compact Generator instead of using the included jumper cables?

  • but jumper cables can charge car batteries, atv batteries and motor cycle batteries this only charges car batteries

  • @3abudiz It will charge anything with a 12v outlet. There are motorcycles and ATVs that have them.

  • @vat19com ohhh

  • 0:17 your battery is ok dude! you probably are out of gas!

  • @UltiMogr THE DUDES GESTERING! HES LIKE WTF? I GOT GAS NO BATTERY

    SOGO FIGURE DUDE

  • if you listento th ecar during the wont start situation u will notice that the car cranks very well which you would think they would have noticed

  • Regular jumper cables are easier and faster then this. And also safer. I don't know what kind of damage this will do to internal wiring or fuses of the cars.

  • @Antoniocool86 None, actually. Products similar to this have been in steady production since the mid 70s.

  • but you wont look manly getting your hands dirty jump starting that women's car!

  • what if one or both cars don't have cigarette lighters?

  • @Bmaster1001

You'd have to look long and hard for a car without a cigarette lighter.

  • I actually had one of these. Not the same brand, but basically the same thing. It took FOREVER to charge the battery. I had my battery die in a snow storm, and my hood ended up getting frozen shut, so we had to use these. I ended up pouring hot water on my hood, and getting regular cables to start it up before this could charge it. (Roughly 25 mins.) Also, it was snowing and cold, and completely dead, so that might have been the reason why.

  • that is what men do, get dirty and fear a little when working on a car

  • are discontinued product videos take away the coments

  • I been looking to downsize all the shit I haul with me. My tool box is handy, but is way to big for the small amount of necessities I carry in it. And hinders my payload capacity outside my tool box. My jumper cables take up a tangled 1-2 cubic feet. This would def help reduce my clutter. Now I need a tiny jack, and tiny 33" spare tire..... hint hint...

  • I really wish that the people at Vat19 would put the price of their products on these YouTube videos.

  • @Lonsoleil Prices are subject to change. We'd have to either re-edit and reupload the video, or cover it in ugly edit bubbles. Besides, we want people to come to the website!

  • @vat19com Just use anotations. They are easy to edit.

  • @Northcodedotno I just explained why we don't use those. First and foremost, they're ugly and amateurish. Second, we WANT people to come to the website.

  • I thought I was going to see someone jump over a car. lol

  • if you came up with all of this stuff you guys r to dam smart my aunt got the das boot for Christmas lol

  • You sell this product in stores like Home Depot and Walmart?

  • dont understand how you can transfer enough amps through that little cable through a cigarrette lighter circuit to jump a car, would you not blow the fuse?

  • @bikercc you dont need "amps" you only need to give the battery the juice to create the current. Something that can be done through a lower current. This method would take a lot longer then jumper cables.

  • Not sure I'd trust this. Gonna just stick to the old jumper cables

  • why is everybody hating on this video? it is a simpler solution to jump start your car thats it

  • 0:16 That's not the sound of a dead battery. All you would hear is a single *wamp* as the starter motor tries to crank... then nothing. Soundman... YOU'RE FIRED!!

  • if you have a manual car and you know how to jump it yourself, good for you.

for those of you who hae an automatic or dont know how, watch the video :)

  • My mom would love this! She has this problem maybe 1-3 times a year. Bookmarking... ;]

  • 0:16 '98 Corollas don't make the engine cranking sound. I'd be worried if mine did!

  • or you could have two batteries in one vehicle

  • it would take a whole lot longer than 5-10 mins because it is only a 12 volt charger......using someone elses battery takes about 5-10 mins lol

  • i thought the title meant to literally "jump" your car...

    LOL

  • or, you can just get a manual transmission car and never worry about needing a jump start again!! i mean for christ's sake, even if i dont have a hill or suitable flat terrain to push on, i can just jack up my car, tie a rope around my tire and pull...engine started!

  • @jjhhkkify Okey dokey.

  • @vat19com ROLFMAO! you don't know how to drive a manual do you? Lmfao

  • @14omega28ok Actually, I do, but your solution is literally the first time I have ever heard such a thing. I'm aware of how to push start a manual, but your method just seems a little... overly complicated and extremely dependent on the nature of the battery and engine..

  • @vat19com How is pushing the car and releasing the clutch complicated? I've done it... many times. Sometimes even by myself because my small car (A older model VW beetle) can be easily pushed with a leg and a little weight put into it.

  • @14omega28ok Like I said, there is nothing unusual about push starting a car, but I have literally never seen someone on the side of the road doing it with a rope. I'm not saying it doesn't work, it just seems like it would be overly difficult, especially during inclement weather.

  • @vat19com Yeah the rope idea is bullshit, I thought you were talking about just the fact of push starting it. Sorry. I've been enjoying your videos for hours btw lol

  • @14omega28ok you dnt kno how to write ROFLMAO do you?

  • @vat19com chuck norris can jump start 100,000,000,000,000 cars without using anything.

  • @jjhhkkify You can't always do it with electronic fuel injection manual cars.. you can do it with most manual cars but not all..

You need enough power in the battery to energize the field of the alternator.so if the battery is to low you wont be able to start it..

But what you said is correct... the cigarette lighter in my car don't work and lots of newer cars don't always have them... so it's a case of doing what you can... Jack, rope, cables, hill start etc etc

  • @jjhhkkify

Jack up your car = 5 Minuites

Tie a rope = 10 Minuites (to get rope firmly tied)

    Pull = 2 seconds Total: 15 Minuites 2 Seconds

Take out cord = 2 Minuites

Find someone elses car to use = 11 Minuites

Get charged = 2 Minuites. Total: 15 minuites. not much of a difference so ur kinda right XD

  • @jjhhkkify Dude its not like your going to be like "gee i need a jump time to buy a manual transmission car" Its obviously not made for you so just Enjoy watching awsome inventions

  • @jjhhkkify

Why buy a car when you can walk?

  • @PikKirby walk to another state

  • WHERE

    DO

    YOU

    GET

    THESE

    IDEAS!!????

  • I wonder if people even use cigarette lighters to... you know... light cigarettes anymore.

  • @BroadwayKid2008 Most new cars have the outlet but no actual lighter.

  • @BroadwayKid2008 my dads car has one but we dont use it

  • when the guy started the car he just drove away... he didn't unplug it or anything...just saying. neat IDEA though.

  • being a mechanic cars dont USUALLY t

urn over when the batt is dead

  • notice him covering the light at :45

  • Ha! I have one of these but different brand and the cord wraps around it like a spool.

I have a Simple Start by Black & Decker. Got it for xmass and never used it yet.

  • Interestingly enough,in an earlier video you made a roadside kit with jumper cables in it. If you've bought both products, you've completely nullified the use of a 10 foot long pair of jumper cables.

  • Dead battery=Completely fucked battery, beyond charging or repair.

Flat battery=Chargeable, whatever-else-able, not dead. And possibly bad electrolytes.

  • plug into cig lighters, wait 8 hours, start car and notice frying smell as the wire that runs the cig lighter is cooked

  • @sstroh08 Man, it would really suck if that was the case with this product!

  • I love how when talking about a dead battery the car is actually turning over. lol

  • How much is it?

  • I know a lot of cars that have a broken 12v outlet. I don't know very many that have broken batteries.

  • Isn't that stealing?

  • @ladedads From who...? From the guy that gave you permission? It's stealing if you don't ask!

  • that is pretty neat but id probably rather pay $12 for cables instead of $50 for that.

  • 5-10 minutes thats to long

  • I found I could jump my own car without a jumper... and FOR FREE!!

But when I tested it, I tripped on the bumper and landed on the hood! Dang!

  • I prefer the SelfCharge Auto Jumper

  • oh wait so, instead of joining to cars together with cables, you want me to join two cars together with two cables? :)

  • what would happen if you put c4 on it?

  • @Emeriican either it would go BOOM!!!! OR!! you'd lose a great pair of pants...

  • @Emeriican lmfao what kind of question is that? :P

  • @rmalvaro a good one ;)

  • Or I could quit being a bitch and use jumper cables...

  • @lowrider5140 How does using jumper cables... wait, nevermind. It's the internet.

  • like how when the guy gets his car jumped, he just drives off. he didnt get his cable back or anything!

  • Uhm, I agree with angelmonkey10 Its says you need to plug the other wire to a working car and the other wire to yours so basically its the same thing.

  • @niro25587 The idea is to charge this and keep it stored so that IF your car needs a jump, you can jump it yourself without another car. Think of it as a backup.

  • @vat19com why do i need 2 jump my car i already have a gun and 4 bats lol

  • @isocool1294 No, the manufacturer that makes them discontinues the items.

  • takes 5-10 minutes? with cables takes less than 5 minutes. but this can still be helpful. less embarrassing. haha

  • @angelmoney10 Obviously conventional jumper cables are faster, but what are you going to do if you're stranded in the middle of nowhere?

  • @vat19com but wont you still need another car if you use this product. same thing?

  • @angelmoney10 No, you charge it preemptively with your own car.

  • @vat19com this is the ending of all horror films

  • @angelmoney10

the "entire process" takes that long

  • Where do u get the second car from?

You cant beat a portable booster pack

  • who owns the nice bmw? :P

  • i thought this was gonna tell me how to jump over my car

  • I need one of these. Notice in the video how at 0:25 he walks over to a stranger's car to give his a jump. Warning: Keep your car doors closed when you park and go shopping. :)

  • pfft, all you need is a crank handle or a hill. automatic transmissions can go to hell.

  • i have my doubts...

  • thumbs up if you thought this meant jump over the car :D

  • @TheLunarPenguin i think your an idiot

  • but jumper cables takes less than 3 mins to make ur dead car run

  • Psh, all you need is a slight hill. Get your car rolling down it, then drop the clutch while in gear.

  • women will definitely be needing this !

  • Your self-charge car starter thing is probably a lot more usefull than this thing is

but that is probably because its newer ^^

  • And thats why you have a manual tranny and drive like a man

  • Wait if your car battery is dead how the hell can it power the cigarette lighter

  • how the hell does the car get enough power from a 12v cigarette lighter?

  • AW MAN. I GOT MY HANDS DIRTY FROM OPENING MY HOOD. UGGHHH FML. k so when you say "without jumper cables" it gives off an idea that you dont need another car......and in this case you need another car......and you also need to wait.......but hey its a new idea and eventually it might bring along something better.

  • 5-10 mins???! I want my car jumped NOW!

  • Easy quick mis huebos!!!!!!!!!!

  • BULL SHIT.....................

  • my dad needs that

  • This must me made for americans...

  • bad thing with jumping cars today is that you can severly fuck your ECU up. my mate had a Haltech one didn't jump it properly and the fuel map went bye bye. car got jumped but the ECU had no idea what was going on the so the car having a reallll shite time

  • What if you hooked up jumper cables AND the quick jumper? ... nothing? ya..

  • But what if your 12v cigerette lighter doesnt work?

  • @MicroAppleStudios stick it in a pussy lol

  • Anyone notice the "Made in China" on the bottom left of the product?

  • hi im from philippines how can i order that? can you email me..

    jchumacera@yahoo.com how much is that?

  • Thats for pussies

  • Uh vat19. half of ur products are GONE>..,,

  • @PkMnKiD11 Huh? Typically less than 5% of our products are out of stock at any one time.

  • @vat19com I think what PkMnKiD11 meant was that half of your products are discontinued but that still isn't true.

  • @TrickyOne3 Oh. Well, sometimes manufacturers discontinue items. However, we have 380+ items for sale right now.

  • um, i don't think it's that hard to pop the hood and connect the cables to the battery. i guess this product is 4 persons who actually don't belong near a car =)

  • OH NO! DONT GET UR HANDS DIRTY!!!! :O

seriously, i think ill stick to what works for.. :)

  • At first I thought they ment you jumped your car with your own cigarette lighter FAIL

  • 0:16 Is not the sound a car makes when the battery is dead.........

  • 0:16 Is not the sound a car makes when the battery is dead...............

  • well this would definitely come in handy for me at this moment as my cars battery is dead. Apparently it's shorted out also, because it melted my jumper cables. positives were on positives and negatives were grounded. I did nothing wrong. Just a defect in the battery I'm guessing. Either way my point is, in my spot this could have helped

  • what if the working car doesnt have a cigarette lighter?

  • @Onlineshrekjr then that sucks.

  • @ForgeOracle yes, setup the meter up with a loop and you'll see.

  • this is for Stupid People!

  • Does it really work??

  • @Timdon812 Yes.

  • @Timdon812 lol

  • is there such thing as cheap/shitty jumper cables that wont work sometimes?

  • @p154831 Probably not. The point of this product is that it doesn't require connecting to each car's batteries directly.

  • @vat19com is that a bmw the working car

  • @p154831 Actually, yes. Some cheaper cables use lower gauge wire, and can actually heat up and melt/arc/give off smoke due to the higher resistance.

  • @p154831 yeah, it is most convenient for cars that have batteries in odd places, like some dodge intrepids have the battery over the wheel and some bmw's have it under the back seat; whereas the lighter socket is easily accessible

  • @p154831 yes, some aluminum or really shitty ones will melt

  • at 0:16 thats a toyotas camry

  • I thought the Car will jump LOL

  • yea, my BMW one isnt even wired up =/

  • lets put a car battery on the black piece and steal a car:D

  • minus well use the jumper cable then lol

  • minus? do you mean might as well?

  • no i do not. thank you.

  • liar.you said minus and thought that is what the saying is minus well, but it is might as well.duh.

  • well its supposed slang and wtf do it matter. are u that bored.

  • @Angielyrica Wow, this girl is hot, kinda dumb but really hot. Oh well, that's cute sometimes.

  • @zapwatt what?

  • @Angielyrica What I mean is I can forgive you making a gaff because you are so beautiful. Just don't do it too much.

  • @zapwatt okay one im a boy and wtf are u talking about. in fact disregard that question and do not reply to me thank you.

  • @Angielyrica Oh, well in that case you look like a girl and you are HELLA dumb because you said "minus well"<---hahahahahaha, wow, dumb like a girl and looks like a girl.

  • what if your cigarett liter doesn't work eh

  • Then use regular crocodile cables.

  • @naterade21 Then you probably wouldn't get this in the first place.

  • Yes this is true. Cars don't die frequently enough because of a dead battery for epople to think of buying this gadget.

Even just jumper cables. I don't think that there are many car owners who have jumper cables in the trunk of their cars.

(Although I have one in my car.)

    :-)

  • very true, i have them at home but not in the car

  • Yet another great idea that people will never see.. sigh

Its a good product.. however I dont think cars die frequently enough to make people even think of buying such a thing

  • Nobody wants to wait 20 minutes to jumpstart their car when $15.00 jumper cables quickly do the job.

  • @luckyvet The video said "5 minutes" same time it takes with traditional jumper cables. Also, I can say with confidence that it takes more time to connect pos-to-pos, neg-to-neg, pos-to-pos, neg-to-earth, than it does to plug one thing into a cig lighter jack.

  • @luckyvet and they only for on petrol cars up to 1.6 litres!!

  • Comment removed

  • @luckyvet Give them a break, why don't you try inventing somthing? Also, they say it will take 5-10 min not 20 min. Piss off...

  • @BladeUYA - I do, in the form of 100's of products a year I design / build & import for my own 4 stores & a network of dealers I sell to throughout Canada.

I also have a 'brain' for knowing whats a good product & what isn't, which is why I have 17 Thumbs up for my highest rated comment you just bashed.

    Ho
