that one at 2.....man that was creepy. I had no fricking idea what that was that was crawling...I had to rewatch it (after much dreading) 3 times before I came pretty positive it was Alma. And that last scare.....shudder. This beta should have been the first level of Fear. :P
Much prefer the beta; creepier, the F.E.A.R team actually do something vaguely useful, Holiday is in it more - dude looks fucking AWESOME - and the gunplay's even more frenetic than the real thing. Why can't they make a version of F.E.A.R that's like this? :-( And the excuse They used for not having Holiday play a part like this is that they couldn't think of situations. How about that situation he was just in?!
I think this game in its beta stage was a lot better in many ways. The same thing happened with FEAR2 too. A lot of creepy stuff was changed... (just check out its old gameplay trailer) I still love them though! ;)
