One day, probably later this month, I am going to do a blog entry on how she's the Queen of Staccato and how it relates to rhythmic vocal phrasing(going back to Ella) because of all of those things you said. It is going to take a while to really make entry on point because I don't want to be off something like this. It just natural for her to go in that direction, really and progress that way.

One of the things that I loved about your posting of Fela Kuti videos is that if you see some of the dancing in it, you will see where Bey and choreographers get their inspirations too. Look at the Deja Vu video and especially the Fashion Rocks choreography. She's always try to bring the "culture" in her work. So I am glad you posted this so people can see what Bey tries to be with her work.
