12 thousand die on average to purposeful death by gun with more than half of those being self defense by police or civilian.
The point with this is that it was totally preventable.

out of the hands of people who can't handle them responsibly.
and for the record i carry knives all the time, and only don't own firearms cuz they cost too much.

@Whisper6911 It seems like you're not reading what I write or at least not all of it. Because you basically repeated what I said about Switzerland and used it like it was your own idea even though I posted it well before you.
I said the problem is education and economic not the guns themselves. Like you said Switzerland has more guns per person than any other country in the world yet has less gun violence.
I use guns to defend myself and my family.

Most people aren't educated enough about guns and the ease of availability of them can create tragedies like this one. The sheriff who let this kid fire that gun is a fucking idiot and should have been found guilty of manslaughter.
