  • yay.is that pictures you have taken of your bird when flying looks good :O

  • @beakf1 thanks

  • PLEASE dont give your bird lettus its bad for them

  • it looks exactly like my first one

  • that was so cute!

thanks for making my heart smile :)

  • @mexicanbirdlady No està gorda pesa 105 gramos. El agua sì, se la cambio a menudo, gracias.

Aun vive, sì, por supuesto! si no...como haria yo! =)

  • Friends! :D

  • That was amazing, I have a black capped conure and a green cheek conure and a cokatiel too, they are my friends for sure!!!!!!!!!!

  • i wish my parakeet that ive had for 7 months was like this

  • My new cockatiel Spanak looks just like her! Except his face is more yellow and the crest is all yellow. I think he'll lose his bright markings when he molts though. :c

  • That was outstanding! This should hit the TV screens. Thank you for putting this here.

  • @captainjaneway44 thank you for watch it :)

  • @Auricchia dont believe her/him

  • @birdluver184858 I know, I do not!!! just a stupid asshol!! clip your cock!! idiot -.-

  • @Auricchia ha! bwahaha

  • My Oboe is a single cockatiel with clipped wings. Yes, CLIPPED WINGS. Ne nearly broke his neck and wings as a fledgling, so from then on I always have his wings clipped. With clipped wings, AND being by himself, he is the happiest little bird I've ever seen. Pets are awesome that way. You show them love.... even a college student who's busy 12 hours a day.....

    he'll love you back.

  • Chica looks just like my cockatiel

  • mine has a parakeet friend, but they dont get to be free together, he's kind of mean to other creatures. i'm sure he would love it more if he was the only bird...well animal in general. we have 2 dogs too, and even if he gets equal attention he hates it when the other animals are the center of attention. dont worry about Auricchia's bird, it's perfectly content...just watch the video.

  • AWW, she remonds so much of my cockatiel!! even down to the way she was rocking from side to side while sitting on her eggs! unfortunately mine flew away a few days ago and im trying to find her :( at least this can remond me of her somewhat!. good job! and beautiful bird :)

  • This Is Sooo Touching !

    I Love this Video !

That cockatiel must be very happy to have An owner Like You !

  • keep doing what you're doing. She doesn't need another bird in her life. YOU are her life and it looks like you devote much of your time and love to her. Good luck!

  • quanto ha nel video

  • aww

  • i love the wing span at 1:56! And when my girls make eggs they sway when someone gets too close.

to the person commenting that the "poor bird" is lonely because its the only bird--negative!--its just more spoiled!! And this birdie sure looks just as spoiled as mine! The only thing I could suggest to this wonderful owner would be to preen her head feathers--she'll fluff up and look even prettier than she does now!!

  • The happiest cockatiel in the world

sorry for my english i'm french

    bye

  • perfect song :P lulz

your little cockatiel is a spoiled little thing, isn't she? haha

  • how cute is that VERY i have one that LOVES crackers

  • It's so nice to see how much you love your bird! Too many birds are kept in cages (many cages are too small on top of that!) and are ignored. My friend cleans a house for a lady that has two tiels in seperate cages and they're never let out or petted. It breaks my heart and there's nothing I can do about it.

  • What a cutie! And yes, they bond strongly with their humans, and as long as they are with their human and not left alone for hours (like if everyone works all day) they're fine, and happy. I have a 4 month old (girl I think) that looks exactly like Chica.

  • i have 2 cocatills:-)

  • Wow! She's an active cockatiel! Most of my females like to be lazy and standoffish. It's great that you have such a good time with her. And ooooh, I see that she went through a hormonal phase with the bottom of her cage. Haha.

I was shocked the first time one of my females did that. But I'm a breeder now so I'm used to it. :) Very cute bird. Most of my friendly birds are male.

(And I agree that cockatiels don't need other birds to be happy. Even though I have 20 of them. But I'm a breeder!)

  • fudge867 - Male pearl cockatiels will lose most or all of his pearling by the second molt... female will keep her pearling... how old was he when he turned grey?

  • what a cute little bird. Btw has her colours changed, or are they the same? My cockatiel was just like this one when I first got him, but now he's turned grey.

  • If you have a single cockatiel, it doesn't mean they aren't happy. I have had mine by herself for 10 years now, and she couldn't be happier. The bond they get with their owner is very strong that way also.

  • right!!!!!!

  • She would be more happy with a handsome boy cocatiel. I have cocatiels too.

  • I've got about 20 cockatiels, and I must say that the single cockatiel that my boyfriend has at his house is just as happy as any of my flockmates. In fact, one of my happiest cockatiels is in a cage on his own. Because he gets his own one-on-one attention that he doesn't have to share with anyone else. :D

It's all dependent on the situation. And anyhow, just because she's a female doesn't mean that she has to have a male around. The male might get unpleasant and territorial with hormones.

  • poor bird, she is so alone :(

  • Nop, because she ahates other birds, we tied it, and than she lives free, she has us, she spend all her time with us, on our shoulder, head, hands, she sleeps wit me in the afternoon on my check.

We give a real LOVE to her.

  • @Auricchia Lucky. My Male Cocketeil hates me lol. I think he's warming up to me, but it may be awhile till he does that stuff. My brid's called Chico, I recently uploaded a video of him singing the Adam's Family lol he goes on my dad's shoulder and arm, and he does with me but only if he flies off his cage and is on the floor somewhere.

  • @dorotheodora Shut the hell up. You just wish you had a bird that loves you like that.

  • @datsyhoehoe A little harsh...

  • @cloudthefox123456789 look at the name and tell me that doesn't surprise you.

  • @BiTTjl Yes her name is Chica...

  • @cloudthefox123456789 Wrong person.

  • u have such an adorable baby lol!! i love my cockatiel too she's like my bff!! <333

  • hehehehe thanks a lot!

  • you have an amazing heart for these creatures.

god bless them. and you :D

  • thank you.

    So cute and innocent.

  • so cute i love this song

  • Chica is so cute :) I have 2 cockatiels-a boy and a girl. but they're really territorial, so they don't get along too well.

Did she get all introverted and defensive when she laid eggs? We got our girl the thing (don't know what it's called) so that she won't lay any eggs :)

Thanks for sharing. she looks healthy and happy :)

  • I go to school from 8:00 am-3:02 but while doing homework i spend time with my bird

i think i spend a little 2 much time with all my birds lol

  • What was she doing at 2:11

  • She's hatching her egg :-D

  • Oh!!! she's moving to the left and to the right because she was nervious, because she tought I was still her egg! :-)

  • Only females make eggs ;-)

  • i will soon get a cockatiel and its gonna be a male. i go to skool til 8 thru 3:00everyday. is that a bad enviroment for my bird? my papa will keep him company wile im gone.

  • Is very important that you will spend some hours with him, playing, talking to him...ecc..ecc...

If there is someone with him 8:00-3:00 could be ok... but remember that

they hate to be alone or closed in cage too much time, this is an agocentric animal, they want to play a lot with you or you mom dad..... You have to be responsable enough and understand if you really want a bird, and you have to understand that it will be wonderful but a sacrifice too. Good luck.

  • I know. I have understood risks and sacrifices of having a bird. I will have sole responsibility and will pay for everything he needs myself. Thanks for replying!:) God Bless.

  • Good, Be responsable, play with him and be a good owner, he will love you soon so much!

I hope your bird will be happy like mine! :-D

    Good luck! ;-)

  • I have the same problem. However, there won't ALWAYS be someone to keep him company 8:30-30, only sometimes. Is this ok?

I would be willing to give up to 1 hour in the evening and about 10-20 minutes in the morning of actual interaction, and (including the interaction time) spend around 3 hours in the evening and 30 minutes in the morning around him as in with him in the cage but me in the same room. Also, it would be more convinient to keep him in my bedroom, but have been (see next comment)

  • researching and have found that this seems to be discouraged as cockatiels like seeing people, and obviously there is normally only one person in there at a time. Would this be ok?

  • Yeah, tiels are great when you get a good one. I have three, a girl, a boy, and one too young to tell. The young one is the most friendly bird I ever had. The male, well, he'd kill me first chance he got. How can I stop that monster from biting me to blood. He bites and doesn't let go until I bleed and nothing helps! Forget that "shake your hand to make him lose his balance" baloney. He's perfectly happy without a foothold, he'll just clamp down harder as he reaches for his knife. Help!

  • hehehe...well...good luck with your 3 birds, specially with the boy!!!! XD

  • yup he sure is happy :D and healthy

  • your cockatiel looks really healthy. thanks for letting it fly around. some people keep birds inside their cages and never take them out.

  • Yes,I know, and I hate these sick people!

  • i love ur cockatiel i've got one but hes no where near as cute and as smart as urs. this video makes me think that my tiel is retarder lol

  • poor bird...don't say that...every cockatiel has his caracter...they are special for this :-D

  • Yes yes, I love my Chica so much! She is my love :D

the cockatiel of my heart XD

  • Awesome colored cockatiel you have! So cute! Too bad they don't look as cute on youtube as in real life.

  • She is so happy !!! :) I see it. Be happy with your cockatiel :)))

  • HAHA thats SOOO cute i have a cockatiel myself but my one is nowhere near as adventurous as yours ! my just sits on top of me or my desk and waits for food! did you do anything to get it like that? ( adventurous lol )

  • thank you! :D

My cockatiel has a beautiful caracter...

is very adventurius, cuddly and sweet but, sometimes, she know be overbearing too!!! :D

    I didn't do anything to get her like this....she's just my...CHICA!!! :D

    kisses!!***

  • haha shes lovely but i wouldnt swap anything for my tiel and im sure u wouldnt either :D xx

  • that was really really cute. I enjoyed that!!! LOL!!!!

  • Thanks :-D :-D

  • my sister has a bird like yours.looks exactly the same. her name is kiki though.she smashed into the window when she was little tho.so she is like kinda retarded-d-d.cute baby bird!

  • I got my baby cockatiel today. We've named him Sunny since most of his head is bright yellow with the big orange spot on each cheek. He still has feathers coming in on his chin and neck, but Im not sure how old he is. He's also just starting to peep. Any tips on how to raise him as smart and happy as Chica is?

  • Just love him, and spend with him a lot of time, speak to him a lot and with ternderness. If you will devote time, for love and play, he will love you SO MUCH!!! soon! :-D

  • Tan hermosa, yo tuve unas asi pero murio aplastada :(

  • Se debería tener mucho cuidado con animalitos tan pequeños que se pueden casi aplastar si los acaricias demasiado fuerte.....Pobre animal...

  • I love Chica!! I found a cockatiel a few months ago. He lived with us for 5 weeks until we found his family. He was so spunky like Chica. He loved to sit on my shoulder or head. I spent most of my time at home wearing a ball cap and towel to catch the poo. I cried when his family came for him, and they cried when they got him back. I'll get my own someday, and will make sure that he or she will be as happy as Chica is!

  • :-D

Thank you very much! I hope your next cockatiel will be very happy! Like my Chica!! And had a beautiful and long life, full of love and funny moments!!! :-D :-D

  • awwdorable! shes lovley!

  • THANK YOU! :-D

  • i love the pattern on her feathers, they're soo pretty :D

    Saluti! :D

  • message me the songs in order

  • does she have a male cockatiel friend? if your not home all the time and they have don't have a mate they get lonely and distressed. i know cos i had a female cockatiel by herself at first and she learned to trust me then when I went out for long enough and I came home she got anxious and panicked when she saw me, so I got her a male friend.

  • she doesn't have any male friend, because she lives with us since she was 2 month,so she is afraid of other birds she only likes human being now.Chica doesn't get lonely because she never stay at home alone, just 2-3 hours at week,no more. She fly and follow me all day everywhere, she loves us,she's always free, she doesn't live in cage, just the night. Everybody caress her, talk to her, kiss her and she's so happy and she always stay in the spotlight. She's the little princess of the house.

  • Didn't you say she laid eggs? That's kinda hard if she is afraid of other birds..?

  • Of course,It makes no sense to take a parrot to live him all day at home alone.

It would be a wickedness by selfish.

    My cockatiel is never alone.

  • è poprio uguale alla mi uccellin defunta

  • Eine schoene Frau wie meine Polly!

  • I don't understand your lenguage

  • Dicevo che è bella come la mia Polly (uguale, femmina e con quel piumaggio. L'ho scritto in tedesco solo perchè abitiamo in Germania. Baci e complimenti.

  • Ho capito,ma se io vivessi in giappone non penso ti scriverei in giapponese no?

In ogni modo grazie e un bacio alla tua pappagallina :-)

  • E vabbe`, ero sovrappensiero... Capita mentre mi rilasso su Youtube!

Poi a dirla tutta, visti i commenti precedenti, non ho mica capito subito che sei italiano/a.

    Saluti in giapponese

  • soooo cute!

  • Hi! :-D thank you! :-)

  • AWW, you really love that bird, what a lucky cockatile!! Greets, :-)

  • Thank you! she's my love :-D :-D

  • Soooooooo cute! I love cockatiels. I used to have one - really miss him :(

  • Complimenti,è bellissima!!

  • Grazie!!! :-D

  • lol when he was gona lay those eggs he was so BIG

  • hi guys i have some questions that need answering please.

    1) My cockatiel loves coming on my finger, stomach, shoulder as do i love having him there except one problem... he poo's everywhere. I love spending time with him and would spend even more time if it wasnt for this small problem.

    2) My cockatiel doesnt like showering, any tips as to how i should shower him. Maybe buy a mist bottle and spray him?

Hes only 3 months old and is very lovely btw.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • hey this is prolly gunna sound weird but is cockatiel poo the same as budgie poo? coz budgies is heaps easy to clean up so i wondered if a cockatiel would be bigger

  • mmm??

  • is budgie poo and cockatiel poo the same size

  • I think that budgie's poo is a little smaller because their bodies are smaller than cockatiels.

But it depends. My cockatiel make very little poo sometimes..like half peanut, and other times like 1 or 2 peanuts. they make a poo like every 20 minute. If they sleep for 2 hours for example, they'll kame a bigger poo. 1 or 2 times bigger. understood?

  • yep cheers

coz i didnt want there to be bigg piles of crap if i hav a cockatiel and let him out u no? coz my budgies is tiny

    thanx

  • if you want to take a cockatiel, you can live him out of the cage in the morning and afternoon for example, but you have to close in cage when you go out. At night you have to put him in cage because they sleep better in cage, with a blanket covering the cage. Of course, you have to be rady to clean his poo more times at day. I do this with my Chica.

  • wen i get a cockateil do u think i shd separate it from my budgie for while its settling in?

  • sometimes if you have one parrot and you add the second one, they can fight until the death too! But other times they can be friendly. You have to be very carefull and to ask to an expert.

  • I have a 5 month old female. She is great. Doesn't seem to make much noise though. I tried to get her to mimic me but she doesn't even whistle. She only seems to scream, but she stops when I give her what she needs. She knows if she screams I will give her food, water, or playtime. She's got me wrapped around her little talon! lmao

  • I have 4 'tiels myself. My boys love them. when I die I want to come back as your bird:) Love the music. "I'll be there for you!"

  • Thanks :-D

Give a kiss to your cockatiels ;-D

  • Your little cockatiel is adorable. You are very lucky. How old is she?

  • Thank you so much! :-D

My Chica, is two years old and she made 24 eggs already :-D

  • My cockatiel is also a female. I've only had her a little over a month now. She hasn't laid any eggs yet. When can I expect that she will? She has to be over 8 months old, but I don't know for sure how old. Is there a way to tell?

  • Maybe you cockatiel is to young for making eggs XD

you better wait and don't worry, cockatiels begin to make eggs at almost 2 years old, my Chica begun 6 months ago and she is 2 years and 3 months old now :D

  • My cockatiel sits on the bottom of its cage also. No idea why but he'll attack if you come close.

  • he mit be sick id take him to the vet!

  • I took her to vet a lot of times. she's perfect. carry your mother to the vet! She must be half animal half human, because she had a srange beast like you. Shut up hassole!

  • my cockatiel sits on the bottom too, he's been doing that for years. he crawls under some newspaper and he also gets crabby if you come near him. he is in good health-fiesty and cheerful. i think he just likes to keep warm or get down time from playing with his other cage mate when he does this.

  • she is sooooooooooooo sweet!

im getting a cocatiel soon any sugjestins on how to make him happy like yours?

  • Did you buy the cockatiel???? :D

  • How many cockatiels do you have ?

  • Why did you cockatiel died when he was laying eggs? :-o

  • i donno, it was called egg bound. she just died, the bird was squaing in pain then just stopped and died. she was a beatiful latino.

  • buh....maybe the poor had a disease.... :-(

  • my first 'tiel Kato died when she was laying eggs, we still have the 6 year old eggs. poor bird, we got a new one 3 or 4 years ago, cinnie, he can beatbox, ihave a video of him.

  • Why did you cockatiel died when he was laying eggs? :-o

  • My first cockatiel died from egg bound as well several years ago. She was a cinnamon pearl pied. She was really sweet like Chica as well, she loved to have her head rubbed like that.

  • So to train my 8-9 month Cockatiel Do i have to get him used to getting on my finger an then use a Clicker and do things with him ?

  • wow this a a great video, Chica is very lucky to have you! She is a happy bird ;) How old is she?

  • Thanks!!! She is very active and always happy! :D

My Chica is almost 2 years old!! ;D ;D

  • She is such an active and lively little sweetheart! No wonder you love her so much!

  • Yes she is!!! Yes she's my darling :D :D

I love her LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE :D

  • No, he chewed on the lead pellets used to weigh down the curtains. Lead is very soft, and the pellets were the same size and shape as rice grains. Lead is very poisonous :-(
