This is a nice series if you like romance and action. Best thing is that Romeo is actually a little less of a crybaby compared to his Shakespeare version and Juliet wields a sword :D

I think this is a pretty cool idea actually...but I don't really like Romeo and Juliet anyway. It's a good story and everything, but maybe I'm just tired of it. (or questioning - it had a good ending cause the parents realized how they'd been stupid in that situation, but in other situations that maybe don't have to do with hate and stuff or/and the parents are good, I'm not sure what the right thing to do would be).

Well, there are certain limits. As far as I've heard (never actually seen it myself) a bunch of things in the anime never happened in the play. I'm not a big fan of Romeo and Juliet, but I did read the play and I liked it. I also liked Romeo + Juliet (the modernized movie version with Leonardo DeCaprio in it), that was a pretty cool adaptation.

princess tut doesnt have a happy ending. i think this does. juliet and romeo fell in love, but mute fell inlove with his enemy and left princess tutu (the duck that also loved him)

Well, I didn't meant that the entire serie reminded me of Princess Tutu, only this trailer made me think of it.

In my opinion Princess Tutu did have a happy ending. I'm glad Muto fell in love with Rue, because I think Ahiru should have been with Fakir.

rue was an idiot always bossing mute around when his hearts wasnt complete, and stoped ahiru from bringing all his hearts back, ahiru loved mute thats why she tried to bring him his heart back, she risked her life but in the end she saw the love of her life gone with his greatest enemy that almost killed ahiru and the prince. besides fakir tryed to kill ahiru just like rue. they make a good couple bad x bad good x good its much better

Yeah and they also explained that Rue was bad in the beginning because she had the raven blood. In the end Rue risked her life so that Mute was saved. It was also the entire serie crystal clear that Mute was only interested in Tutu, not Ahiru. Ahiru and Fakir became really good friends and it was obvious Fakir loved her. And it was always a fact that Ahiru would turn back in a duck once she gave Mute his heart back.

yh true. but she always risked her life to save mute. and she is tutu princess even though she turned in to a duck the memories couldnt be washed away. and besides fakir doesnt love her, u can tell. besides in the end when he was trying to save rue he was still kind and worried about ahiru duck. and what part showed that fakir loved ahiru? none. they were just friends when they talked about ahiru's identity revealed to where he wrote his last story to save her (didnt work)

A lot of Ahiru/Fakir fans say that a possible love was obvious in episode 21, 23, 25 and 26. Even in the trailer the creators showed that Fakir could love Ahiru. And he said "Even if that does happen, I'll always stay by your side." Maybe he meant as a friend, maybe not, but it means something. He takes care of her when she's a duck. I know Ahiru's memories couldn't be washed away, but she was happy for Rue and Mute :)

Hang on, hang on. It's not just the most popular titles that get translated into English, stuff like Aura Battler Dunbine was translated, (kudos to ADV) which wasn't that well known even in Japan. Besides, it's Gonzo making it, and it's based on Shakespeare. Not only is Gonzo well-known in Japan, but it would be really weird for an adaptation of an English play into an anime to not have an English release.
