It is a shame that these Greeks are acting like angels here..... The world knows about horrible crimes committed by Greeks against innocent Turks on the island if one happens to search..... Stop the LIES and embrace PEACE... Btw REMEMBER THIS !!!! THERE IS A LONG LASTING PEACE IN CYPRUS SINCE 1974 BECAUSE OF TURKISH MILITARY PRESENCE.

Cyprus is over 600 miles away from Greece. It has never been under Greek rule through out history. Before the Ottomans arrived, it belonged to the Venetians. Turks have been on the island for over 500 years.

In 1973, after a 20 year campaign to starve the Turkish Cypriots forcing many of them to flee to Turkey, a Greek terrorist organisation, EOKA-B, Makarious cronies and the Army of Greece attempted genocide against the Turks of Cyprus to finish the job. Turkey intervened militarily because no one else would. Countries that believe Greek propaganda banned the book "The Genocide Files" by Harry Scott Gibbons (available at amazon). The Nazis used to burn books too. Shame on the Greeks.
