It's a little hard for me to explain in english, i will try. You have to use a video editing software ( personnally, I use Windows Movie Maker, ( there are other software who are free or you can buy ) and if you have the anime and the music, you can make an AMV.

Well, i suppose it's depend of people, some like shoujo-ai (GirlXBoy relationship), others like Yuri (GirlXGirl) or Yaoi (Boys love) or perhaps all. It just like that, there is not really a meaning behind that. Some people like comedy, horror, drama, and I suppose it's the same for Shoujo-ai/Yuri. (Sorry for my poor english)
