intake, exhaust a turbo , rollercage springs and a diff.

en you needed wider tires slicks have to much grip and then you have to tune your car the way you like it but it's up to you what your buying

Upgrading tyres does help, i always use race grip tyres to drift, and i always do full horsepower.

The best thing to do is to upgrade your car bit by bit, adding a little bit of power every time, getting used to controlling it and adding a bit more. (this is how i learnt anyway)

well tell you the truth, for HP don't go over 550, and everything else go right side, upgraded to max except tires, you will have to choose those yourself depending on how slick and controlable you want your car to be.

If you find that your car is barely controllable (even on the straight acceleration parts) I'd recommend lowering the differential to around *49%* (this is my personal preference for the diff.).

this video kinda leads people on the wrong track. if you were going to try and drift this in 90% of the tournements you would get laughed at because it has way too much horse power and its a U999. plus you can't drift in tournements with racing slicks. I guess if you were a beginner this would be a fun car but it wouldn't actually help you get better. just fun to mess around with.

It's not like you don't have time to type, but I didn't understand most of your comment anyways, you HAVE to use manual and get on 3rd gear(for me) and once you pull the E-brake you countersteer(The opposite way your turning) then throttle control and don't countersteer too much, that'll cause you to straighten out.

Hey I have a quick question, but first...

I've recently decided to dust off the ol' Forza 2 because I just found out you can drift(INORITE?). So yea i've check out tehiron's vids and decided to give a crack at drifting. I have manual transmission on and grabbed a RWD RX-8. I did...about 2 succesfull drifts out of 100+ in 2 hours, not bad for day 1! Now my question is...because i didn't see it ANYWHERE...Do you turn off ABS and the other 2 things? Thanks in advance!

Having the ABS on is just preference. but you NEED the TCS and STM off. if you notice it'll kill your drift when it kicks in.

Also, why do you straighten out for every single straightaway. Have you ever seen a Keiji Tsuchiya (DK) drift before? You MUST connect corners. I have a Fairlady that I could make do loops around your car while you were "drifting", because your idea of drifting is driving straight.
