@SterbendDSBM Yeah info is not new, heared it in a Forum in a discussion about Asmodaios death, one in there seemed to know him, and the info was given before the great hype of that band, so I think its the truth.

This band is one of the best of BM. BUT you can easily here a big Burzum influence in this music especially this song. I mean it IS Det Som En Gang Var riffs mixed with Beholding The Daughter Of The Firnaments riffs. Seriously if you can't hear that then you are stupid. But anyway Sterbend kicks ass. I'm not saying that being similar to Burzum is bad because Burzum rules!

I have only heard two songs, but I can already tell this band is/was just a poor man's Burzum - what's the point? Now I can see Varg's point that many modern BM bands just rip off Burzum. It's like Burzum, but not as good and with lousy vocals that sound like Gollum

@spinglishreturns Thats not fully correct: The thing is, that the Bass-man Asmodiaos died. And They are not sure wheather its still "Sterbend" without him. They are Both active in other Projects and they are writing new stuff together, but they are not sure weath for Sterbend or not. sorry i hate english.

The only thing I don't like about bands like these are the goofy-sounding "hooting" vocals. Otherwise it's absolutely ace black metal.

And who knows, maybe one day I'll finally "get" the vocals. Tastes do change :P
