So true!! Infertile couples and atheists are allowed to marry. Yet infertile couples can't have children, and atheists and agnostic people like ourselves don't believe in God yet if they're heterosexuals they can marry. Ridiculous!

Indeed. It is ridiculous that there are people who think that man and woman should get married and have Children. Marriage is not a religious thing. It was practiced before Christianity. If a married couple is infertile, asexual, or is not devoted to a religion, they still have the right to get married.

Well, not all LGBTs are non-theists. I for one believe in God. I simply do not believe in organised Abrahamic religions and the homophobic interpretations of their scriptures.

No, the riots are caused by those protesting against Prop 8 (I don't blame them since that amendment is unfair and shouldn't have been created in the first place).

Personally, I believe that same sex couples should have the same rights as everyone else, just because someone is of a different sexual orientation doesn't make them a bad person, but stripping them of their rights is just wrong and sickening.

The argument for Gay Marriage is that one adult should be able to marry whomever they choose(another adult)..right?

So, if someone wants to marry their adult son, or brother, or sister, or daughter. Is THAT O.K.? Even liberals would say "no". The left WONT ADMIT this comparison is valid.

At this time, the US law does not allow incestuous marriages. If non-heteros are asking for equal rights, it logically follows that they are not asking for the right to marry their parents, grandparents, children or siblings. They are asking for the same right heteros have. The right to marry a fellow adult whom they love and are not closely related to.

I'm actually agnostic. I do believe in a possibility of a God or supreme being, but there are other religions besides Christianity.
