maybe not, but its certainly detracted from other people being able to understand the point you were trying to get across. this is the nature of language and semiology. if you want people to understand you, you can't just make up words cos there is no way for people to understand or interpret them.

thats not entirely true, removing all vowels from a word, still allows many britons to read the word, similarly, moving the placements of all vowels in a word produces the same effect, so it is enirely plausible for someone to make up a word like "censont" and, given a context, someone to be able to read it as "consent"

The argument presented at 02:11 - 03:12 is flawed. Banksy has nothing to do with the Andipa Gallery. All the pieces on show were either consigned by the owners or bought by the gallery on the secondary market. Banksy simply had no control over that.

Likewise, it is unfair to use pieces placed by their owners at auction houses to critique the artist.

No reference to the amounts donated to charity, or prints being sold at below market rate so that all echelons of society have access?

Banksy has been selling his prints for 'below worth' for a while now, it's an entirely selfless act in order that the fans that were there from the start aren't priced out. It is a shame that some only buy his prints to immediately sell for personal gain. The Flag print in question was changing hands at around £400 hours after it's release, although some people on ebay did donate some of their profit to sightsavers too, as requested by a leaflet that was handed out with the print at the sale.

Interesting that you used the Flag print for the image behind the words SELL OUT, that print was created entirely for the benefit of charity, there were 1000 prints sold at £100 each in aid of sightsavers. Hardly a sell out , when a: they would have sold at £300 and b: when ALL the money was given away.

Like to inform that the words "sold out" are over the top of the print and that the placement was not my doing! Search "Banksy prints" over goggle! I used it as a play on word and had nothing to do with morals so the charity case is irrelevant! But one thing I ask you, if Banksy could of sold them for £300 why didn't he, 3x the money going to charity?Why change it, reducing the money? The people buying them knew no different! Considering they were then sold over eBay!
