My car doesn't give you a choice. When you get in and close the doors, once it starts, the doors automatically LOCK! Its configured that way because I got road raged a few times by people, because I wouldn't bow down to them. It prevents them from being able to open the doors and reaching in on me. I also have a manual siren just in case. If I could afford one, I'd have a bullet proof one. Mainly because of those idots out there!

If that ever happens again, when you see the perpendicular street lights turn yellow, roll down the window a little so he can get his arm inside to try and unlock the door, but not far enough to reach the unlock. Grab his arm then, your lights will now be green, and FLOOR IT. It should break his arm, and drag him to the next set of lights. =] Or you can roll them up so his wrist is caught in the window and just keep driving ;] So smart :D

my keyless automatically locks my doors when my engine is engaged. in case one of my dumbass friends somehow manages to fall out of the car while it's moving. but when I'm driving through the bad part of town I'll give it one more lock just to be safe..

I live in la, locks don't mean anything here. It's all about the little red flashing light that indicated a car alarm. If you leave your car parked somewhere long enough that someone notices, and it's just locked, their gonna smash it open and strip it good.

where i live in Trinidad there are 3 main roads the main road, the highway and the bus route. From 2pm - 6pm the traffic is horrible on the main road and the highway and only buses can go on the bus route... main road is the worst so i use the highway.. every week on a certain stretch of road in the grid lock guys just walk around pulling on car doors and if they find one thats open they just hop in and rob the occupants..its been going on for years now and even the police are afraid to go there

Dont lock your car door when you are in hight speed because if something happen it much to exit the car and Lock your door when you see black guy walking at your car .

1/2 the time i do. I used to live in South Africa, and when i got into a car i always locked the door because of a high hi-jacking rate. But now i live in England and i normally don't, but sometimes i think of SA and lock them lol

where i live in Trinidad there are 3 main roads the main road, the highway and the bus route. From 2pm - 6pm the traffic is horrible on the main road and the highway and only buses can go on the bus route... main road is the worst so i use the highway.. every week on a certain stretch of road in the grid lock guys just walk around pulling on car doors and if they find one thats open they just hop in and rob the occupants..its been going on for years now and even the police are afraid to go there

@seto862 Yea. When I went to Trinidad I heard stories of people just breaking into cars because the doors were not locked. So when ever we left the house we would lock car doors just in case we might get robbed. Crime rates are really going up in Trinidad and Tobago.

Ya all the time! saskatoon is a crazy native infested city so its common sense. plus the fact i've almost been truck jacked 3 times at the same light by natives......first ones learned their lesson, probably still in the hospital!

currently living in Oakland, CA which i believe is the 5th most nationally ranked city for violent crime (thankfully thats the lowest its been in a while) and i was flipping through your videos and saw this, and noticed that i unconsciously lock my doors, i guess by habit now. i mean im very fortunate that i am living in a neighborhood where all i have to worry about is house robbings and even more rarely a few murders.
