  • So far, it all seems very precise in technique, but only such. The instructor is allowing himself to be thrown into the proper motions, instead of actively resisting against his student. I'd love to see a spar, where the techniques are put to use, with both sides attempting to get the upper hand.

  • @xkiarofl Yes, this is training. We will try to get some sparring videos up in the future.

  • @sailorbarsoom Indeed! Several of these techniques are ones my brother learned in his MMA Kickboxing class. Good techniques get around and stay around !

  • nice !

so happy you guy's are still going, keep up the good work \m/

  • Great stuff! Greetings from Germany.

  • Somos ahora los que fuimos una vez ,Gran labor ..Gracias.

  • Thank you for this! Yes, some of this looked a bit "judo-esque," if I can mix languages like that. But then how could it not? The human body is put together a certain way, and certain moves are going to be more effective than others. So any system that's any good will have some similarities to any other system that's any good.

I like the way some of the older knowledge is being rediscovered.

  • Where do u guys teach

  • @kaindrg We currently have schools in Salisbury, MD and Pennsauken, NJ.

  • @MEMAG Are you planning any schools in England?

Great video - I am learning a lot.

    All the best

    David

  • Super !!!!

  • Fucking nice, as always i love the music!!

  • Very, very nice! Well done to your young student!

  • ***** nice

  • If he keeps this up, when he gets older he's going to be a machine :D

And good to see you guys putting stuff up again. It's been a long time between drinks.

  • Nice job, Jacob- Congrats MEMAG on another great video!

  • How does this compare with Asian styles are there some similarities or are there a lot of differences? All the same it looks pretty interesting.

  • @schizoidboy To put it simply, there's only so many ways you can move the body and remain effective; this applies to swordsmanship, too. For instance, the throw at 1:18 looks a lot like the tomoe nage (suicide/sacrifice throw) from Judo, while a master of the Japanese sword once commented that some techniques from the German longsword looked quite similar to some high level stuff of theirs. So, really, many things will seem similar when they all strive for efficiency.

  • good for short people like me

  • Nice

  • very well made video good job!

  • Very nice, keep it up.

  • Excellent, thanks for sharing. Many of these moves live on in current grappling arts - we stand on the shoulders of those who've walked the path before.

  • I love that you used a young student. That really shows how effective these all can be no matter the size of your opponent.
