Hey jay , when u gel coated the bilge I'n the sea ray did it turn out dull or glossy ? I haven't painted mine yet but was wondering if I need something to make it shine ..
J, I have recently started watching videos on using jet ski(waverunners) for offshore fishing. I know you enjoy fishing and working on jet ski's(waverunners), Why don't you build one of these your way?
Enjoy all post except the cats. LOL... I hope you will consider this idea because i'm in the process of buying a jet ski(waverunner) and turning it into a fishing vessel, with a Tittle LOL.
Have you ever thought of making a little 8' wooden hydroplane? I attempt at making one every year, but always run out of time. I bet your son would love it since a 9.9hp would make it go pretty good (not sure what the rules are in texas).

@live4545 Mine was kinda in between. Make sure you use a waxed gel coat for the final coat.
