  • sending in wave after wave may some heroic, however they kept sending them into the killing zone, every good soldier knows not to go into a killing zone where someone has already been hit, that is basis shit, it will be DF'd

  • whats with the cheap muzzle flash lol

  • if this was planed the right way man if we had air super the right 1 not f16 if now they had a c130 gun ship would finsh the top of that hill

  • @sertox12345 who is this "we"? This isn't call of duty on xbox kid, this is real life

  • where is the air suport gen wow you suck

  • Comment removed

  • Great patriotism writing 9-11 on your hand, too bad it was YOUR OWN GOVERNMENT STUPID

  • Dum ass Navy seal...

  • That's right America. Try the same thing 3 times. Foolproof.

  • this is hilarious! Thanks for a good laugh!

  • @etsak1975 they coulnt send any AH-4D's cause they'd get shot down

  • would a sniper team help up there?

  • @MrRagingbovine the team would have had to be in place BEFORE the ranger team went in on another mountain ridge if they where to provide fire support so YES it would help.. but they didnt think of it at the time

  • Gen Hagenbeck could not make any worse decisions than those, real stupid

  • @goatsawar02 andwe put these people in command positions.

  • uh, what happened to the A-10 warthogs?

  • @madtoytle forgot to use them lol

  • i thought those 'predators' were equipped w/ firepower

  • now its 400 against 20 some hert only 6

  • and y is the second team miles away wow omg sorry for the guys who got hit sorry guys this was a bad plan and than the gen keeps making worng moves or just tell thes guy they are there up top wow gen you should get shot see how it feells

  • These "Situation Critical" videos are all staggering in the point of how officers responsible for those under them made such staggeringly stupid decisions.

How do you direct a helicopter full of Rangers to land within a kilometer of an enemy position on a ridge that has already shot down two other helicopters? It's just SO STUPID it defies understanding.

  • @aluisious The jungle rescue or the downed pilot videos had no mistakes in them.

  • why is the flash lighted mounted on the gun flashing each time a shot is fired? 7:19

  • How do they get there boots bloused all tight without it coming out when there running???

  • maybe send the SAS next time?

  • @surfboytom12 its joint ops

    chances are they did

  • @surfboytom12 Just exactly what I was thinking......I have so much respect and confidence for the British SAS!!! I think the SAS would have been successful in this mission...

  • @nikemac84 Maybe so but you never know if the SAS operators accepts the mission to begin with, they just might consider it to dangerous.

Than again, SAS in same situation would leave their comrade behind and not send in wave after wave to save 1 man.

  • @surfboytom12

    fuck you jack shit.

  • wtf the effects look like they are made in windows movie maker

  • "god bless USA" fuck yea

  • they should do a movie about this and call it chinook down

  • @bleushift dude, not disrespecting the soldiers but " chinook down " the reason why they can use " black hawk down " is because " black hawk ", how weird would " chinook down " sound?

  • @bleushift make it "chinooks"

  • @bleushift

or how about Operation: Anaconda or the Battle of Robert's Ridge (Robert being Petty Officer Neil C. Roberts)

  • im watching this serious, and i think they fucked up distance and times. they say the seals crashed 7 KM away from the first, but they went after them and it would take "hours to get their"... okay thats understandable, then they said another fight was taking place "47 meters away" and made it seem far, i was like er? uhm okay., then they said " 600 meters away it would take hours to get their" what the fuck? 600 meters, granted up hill is bad, but thats no more then 30 minutes

  • @bigplayer2382 those are rugged mountains over there

shear drops not to mention all the gear you have to carry

  • God bless the USA, 9/11 <3

  • Poor American soldiers, they have to fight against an enemy with almost the same equipment! It is so unfair! Americans should always have superior technology at hand, when fighting their justified wars!

I really hate it, when they cannot use their nightsights, drones, and so on.

At least some fighters could participate, but those enemies went on shooting, that is horrible!

Those cowards were dug in between the rocks, those cowards, instead of fighting a brave fight against the fighterplanes.

  • @wasistdaswasdasist well they blame us for cover with armoured and other things, but they lost more men than USA in a gunfight..

  • @boyrichboy

    pig disgusting obama lover

  • 9:39, So they can afford weopons ch-47's and EVEN AFGANS but they cant afford to atully shoot them, sad

  • Its so beautiful to see those f-15 makes those bastards run

  • 1:46 worst muzzle flash effect ive ever seen.

  • Firstly, yes the gunshots are god aweful, but the faltering of the helicopter, holy god!!! Onto the important part: What did Operation Red Wings learn from this? According to the dipsh1t Ed Darack (who is prob right on this point), the socom command elements refused to bring in anymore rescue choppers for fear of looking like idiots. But this may have been b/c all of the rescue support died in the crash initially, although according to him again, they would not have known that since there was

  • 8:17 I wonder how this dumbass is gonna feel when he'll finally learn that 9/11 was an inside job.

  • why not get behind the fallen chinook to use as cover?

  • @ChromeGhost0219 because it wouldnt provide much cover. they're pretty much like sitting in flying paper

  • all you guys stupid and ungratefull bitches they were outhere risking there lives so we can live in peace wile all you do is talk shit id lough my ass of seeing you try to do there job

  • all this because a bunch of seals were too lazy to walk 4km

  • @dahed118118 fuck you faggot, sho some respect

  • Comment removed

  • @dahed118118 dude honestly, if you were them, you woulnt even survive 000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.00-9th of a second

  • all they had to do was put a battalion of marines in... but never the less those guys are fucking epic heros

  • Im a bit upset of this episode because the USAF Special Ops units were not mentioned, and may have misinformed some of the people who watched this. They might mistook Chapman was another SEAL when in fact he was a Combat Controller, and Cunningham was not a Ranger and not just a "medic" but a Pararescueman. There was a special tactics squadron inserted along with the the Ranger team, Where was their story?I think NG should reasearch more.

  • wow that guy is shooting and doesn't even have a magazine loaded 1:47

  • @commandplay

yeah i noticed that mate it amused me as well

  • @commandplay

omg didnt think it would be as bad as that....i thought wrong . wat kinda ppl wouldnt put a mag in...

  • @commandplay one in the chamber is all you need. 1 shot, 1 kill lmao.

  • @commandplay hahahahahahaah stupid?

  • @commandplay LOL I saw it too

  • I'm not sure who is more dangerous to our special forces, Al-Qaeda or the guys calling the shots back at the air base.

  • The yanks need to get the fuck out of Afghanistan. What is there to prove 10 years on?

  • @Rotpig well where america where not happy unless where trying to take over another country and blowing all our tax dollers on war DUH lol god this country sucks goat balls

  • @masterman3178 well im sure happy your greatful for men and women risking and losing thier lives so you can be free you ungreatful ass

  • @masterman3178 Ummm wasnt al qaeda responsible for 9/11? Oh wait, conspiracy right? And be grateful that our men and women are fighting their asses off so that you ONLY have to pay more taxes. I still see no draft, i see no war bonds, i see no propaganda posters. (except for the usual "USA kicks ASS")

Face it jackass, we've been alot worse. (a little over 2,000 dead compared to WW2s 420,000)

and if you dont like this country, go britain, we sure as hell dont need you.

  • Chuck Norris would've appeared behind the Al-Qaeda forces and took them out one by one just by his appearance alone.

  • horrible muzzle flashes

  • wow even an m-16 jammed

  • Its amazing how the anti-American ass-hole, pricks on youtube comment with their bloody nonsense like idiots. Please, watch the show and quit your bitching? Thank you.

  • @Tyco200 hypocrite, your the one talking nonsense and everyone on this feed is laughing at you!

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Uh, actually, look below, dumb-ass. Apparently ignorant/arrogant morons, such at yourself (no harsh feelings please!) loose easily. Have fun with your arrogance. And I would just love to see how the SAS would handle this situation. Loosing twice as many men as we lost? :P Typical.

  • @Tyco200 The Americans think they are the best coz they are the biggest but being big actually means you fail big just like you did and get beaten by tin men sheep farmers ROFL

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Last comment eh? How pathetic. America could and would crush Britain within a day. The British Challenger 2 is inferior to the Abrams, and is only in the hundreds. The U.S Air force could slaughter the Euro fighter within seconds. The Astute Class Submarine is inferior to the American Virginia Class. (30 Virginias VS 5 Astutes :P) You fail misserably.

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer And... Where were those "tin man sheep farmers" exactly? Last time I checked, the British were and are also taking as many casualties as the Americans. You are as inferior as we are. Pathetic little cunt. :P

  • @Tyco200 Actually check the figures over 1000 Americans dead in Afganistan coz you aren't trained as well as British soldiers which is true. British soldiers have better training and so can actually boast. Also to your comment about out army you obviously haven't been to Britain in a while coz you talk about our WW2 army. We have newer subs that are better then yours and would demolish your ships. Also the U.S airforce is ten times bigger then ours yet we could still knock out most of it. HA

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Site some actual statistics that show how the British are better than the U.S. Look it up yourself. And you could do what? The RAF flies the Euro fighter Typhoon, which is inferior to even our Eagles. Secondly, do you actually expect Euro fighters to win against F-22s? Look up some actual facts before posting biased information. Everyone is laughing at you.

  • @Tyco200 i look up actual facts and you ignore them so what else can i do to show how ignorant and thick you are other then prove to you you are but you still ignore. Your laughing at me but that's backifiring on you lol. Unlike you i don't use wikipedia to find out my facts like you do i go to a proper site lol.

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer And a thousand Americans dead, eh? Kind of small in comparison to our British friends. ;) Look up your own death rates. They make me laugh. And also? The Virginia Class submarine is among the best in the world. The British cannot compare.

  • @Tyco200 Oh i forgot to mention our new subs that are the best in the world... check it up lol we own you. You are ignorant saying yours are better coz ours were in the news over the world saying they are a new kind of subs which are the most advanced

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Also, please do note that the United States is building your F-35s. Which are inferior to the modern day F-22s. :P And the Royal Navy is a true joke if compare to the U.S. The Queen Elizabeth Class carrier is no more than shit against a Nimitz class. Look up how many carrier groups we have atm. And building the Gerald R. Ford will rightfully topple your nation's navy. Pathetic.

  • @Tyco200 Whats pathetic is that you say they are building them and haven't got them already rofl

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer And what does going to Britain have anything to do with this argument? Your argument is invalid my friend. You have been rightfully raped. :P And yes. During the Second World War, we toppled you there as well.

  • @Tyco200 Thats what the propaganda makes you think my friend lol your gullible as well as thick. We lead from the front while you just hid in your country pressing buttons ROFL we toppled you

  • WOW USA are rubbish. two choppers down so lets send in two more. The men didn't even know what they were supposed to be doing only that they would be dropped and then shoot some people. Rubbish planning, the SAS plan which makes them much better then the seals and rangers who just run in and die. Why didn't the SAS come and give USA a training lesson

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Really? And you expect them to do any better? Sure, sending another chopper in was a foolish mistake, but I doubt the S.A.S could do any better... Going into some random area, thinking that the place was cleared = loosing men. So, please. Don't go boasting how your military's better. :P

  • @Tyco200 I don't need to boast that the SAS are better everyone knows they are :P and also the SAS plan before going in and never go and do something without infomation because only a fool runs into a mountain with 200 terrorists not knowing where they are

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer The reason the SEALS and CCT Chapman went in there in the first place was because of the pressing need that the 10th mountain and 101st airborne had for airsupport in the valley below. They were getting hammered and the AF needed close observers for air support coordination for the pinned infanry in the valley. T

  • @tigermax2012 The operators initially wanted to push the mission back but were denied by the higher ups at JSOC. This mission was a cluster from the get go as a result of faulty intelligence and a pressing need rather than inferior operators.

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Over sized ego much? :P Um, didn't you even watch the entire episode? At first, they sent a C-130 "Spooky" gunship into the area. Al Qaeda hid inside the mountain in underground caves to avoid the thermal-heat scanners. If they had been detected, they'd be dead within seconds. We thought that they are was cleared. You idiot.

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer If the SAS were there, they would have been killed just like the SEALs. And also? Please... Learn to decrease you ego-pride for being British. Seriously.

  • @MrOmegaBlitzer Actually the Aussie SAS played a major role in airstrike co-ordination at Anaconda

  • they're too arrogant to look down on Al-Qaeda

  • its a shame that such a mighty country with all its technological sophistication & supposedly elite troops, can be reduced to this shit sorry state by the most backward, medieval peasant Bastards on this earth!!!! the Americans seem to be ready for world war 3 with the russians, north koreans & chinese fighting a conventional war. After Vietnam those days are long gone. Now seemingly any country has the chance to fuck a superpower with an insurgents war.

  • @delta0one And I suppose the Russians would get their assess handed to them just like the Americans? ^^

Remember who attacked Afghanistan first, like imperial shit heads. And sadly, they lost quite a few men. :P Kind of like, the Russian's Vietnam? This is an insurgents war. It's very different. Fighting soldiers on a modern battlefield is something, but fighting a group of insurgents who hide around the hills and in caves is just... Impossible. And North Korea can't stand a chance..

  • This makes me angry. I'm British, and what they did, and the way they did it, was totally.... wrong? How can you drop a patrol KM's away knowing that they will have to TAB up the mountain, in what appears to be cold temperatures, for hours! The other patrol could be dead within them hours, for that patrolling TABing up the mountain to get caught in the fire as well! :S

  • The hk 416 would not fail like the m4 and besides have a higher fire rate than the m4and highter accuracy i guess this is when u need the hk416

  • man, the rangers got completely obliterated. I guess the US military isn't the best of the best after all

  • look at 1:49 dont the gunshots look terrible?

  • That Maj. Gen. or who ever was calling the shots either was inexperienced, not properly briefed, or panicked and made some bad decisions. Hard to watch and know this happened for real =/

  • flash from the mortar looks REALLY convinving.

  • 1:49, there's no bullets in his gun

  • This was one of the most poorly planned and poorly coordinated rescue mission of U.S. Special Forces...a lot of lives have been lost because soldiers were being dropped on the same site where they are most vulnerable to enemy fire....

  • Is not good leaving a man behind but dam you gotta be real trying to save 4 man end it up into like 10 ppl dead ;/. Why a F16 didn't bomb the hell out of that mountain idk a air strike.

  • When the ranger qrf went in on the shinooks why didnt they send black hawks or ac130s as escorts. They know from there surveilance al qeada is dug in & have rpg's. They knew without escorts they would be sitting ducks for them rpg teams. Even when the shinook got hit they could of sent in the black hawks as c.a.s. because there able to fire danger close w\ less risk to the rangers.

  • The powers that be screwed up the execution of this op 3 times in a row. WOW, now thats incompetence. Rangers should have been inserted just below the seals, to reinforce & so take control of that area. Not on the peak & into the enemies 'living room'. This particularly as the Gen in command is watching the battle via drone cam.

  • lol! When it comes to fight on ground!! "Air Support", filthy cowards!!!

  • @artistdigital so say you encounter a numerically superior enemy that can drop mortars on you and supress you with gunfire and you have no cover. since you are a brave and mighty keyboard warrior who knows seems to know what its like in a warzone, how would you deal with this situation?

  • @handgrenadepin

I know, exactly, how it feels to be in such situation, on the other side!!

Im not only keyboard warrior. Im well versed with weapons n guerrilla warfare!

On which of my post, did u comment??

  • @artistdigital uh huh well versed in guerrilla warfare indeed... your experienses reading books and fighting video game wars certainly means you know what takes balls in the real deal and what doesnt. the rangers are certainly cowards for calling in airsupport in this situation. geez what was i thinking...

  • @artistdigital what would you do if you were them

  • @awesomenoob6281 lol! :) I can't find my own comment!

    Who them?

  • if the seas had waited for their gunship support

  • shld have give ranger oscar and his team a medal of honor and a commendation a valor 4 his combat braverY 2 save his buddys

  • actuallY as u can see in the backGRD they shld have use the CHINOOK as some sort of BLOCK since there is no cvr at the back door as least if they shoot from the corner of the chinnoks it wld have been better rather den just rush out and head straight in2 a hailstorm of metal rounds

  • haha stupid americans...

  • these guns are suck, wheretf is the grenade luancher????

  • the gunshot effects in this look terrible

  • @omgxxxomg Yeah, the AK47 at 1.50 doesn't even have a magazine in it :s

  • @omgxxxomg yea it does my god i could do a better job with a 1985 camcorder some glue and constrution paper

  • @omgxxxomg well its not ment to be gd u fuckin useless cunt...... they are fighting for the lifes and telling the story.... ASSHOLE

  • LRSRaNGeR173 calm down with the emotions man im crying over here.yr special forces failed the leaders of al-qaeda got away from tora bora becuase yr special forces didnt land in there n face them.just used afgan army and intense air strikes.before u chat shit mr power ranger yr generals have written books claiming this also.try the book called THE BATTLE FOR TORA BORA

  • @werekilledbycowards ummm actually they didnt GET sent u think they CHOOSE when to go

  • i dont know what the fuck u r going on about.but i do know yr goverment has gone silent about how bad ass ur amry is.after 8 or 9 years of war.

  • @werekilledbycowards my 2010 government is not my 2004 government

  • @wilderhuckleberry ur fucking troops are jokers even with all this media propaganda n hollywood hype about "american troops" reality is after a few explosions u 4get about all the talk and u run off.i aint ever seen u engage the mujahideen in a gunbattle.....just firing at no-1 and swearing! jokers

  • @werekilledbycowards how many firefights have u been in dickhead

  • @wilderhuckleberry dunno.none actually i know people that have engaged ur troops in afghanistan from pakistan and the ones that survive laff at ur cowardly troops

air support is all u can do.

  • @werekilledbycowards so you got a platoon of people armed with M16s, which can engage a target about 300 or so yards. some douchbag starts taking shots at you from an unknown location out of range of your weapons. how bout a different scenario, your platoon gets blown up by an IED and the people responsible have already fled the scene. or how bout being caught in the open while getting shot at by a numerically superior enemy capable of dealing lots of firepower from behind fortified positions.

  • @handgrenadepin since you seem to know what warrants as "cowardly" in a warzone, perhaps you can provide a solution that does not require "cowardly" tactics such as air support.

  • @handgrenadepin i know yr an american, but if 1 side has every possible arsenal of weapons and spy technology that most world aint even aware of and other side is a bunch of farmers with small arms and home made bombs.10 years down the line and the super power cant defeat them is shocking weather u hate taliban or love them hate america or love them.

  • @werekilledbycowards doesnt take a genius to kill people. seriosly you can do it now if you wanted to. go make an improvised explosive (you could probably find out how on the internet), or shoot a weapon a few times before getting the hell out. a bullets dangerous whether it was fired from an ak47 or a helicopter gunship. even more so when the "farmers" know the terrain like the back of their hand and intimidate locals into not cooperating with americans.

  • @handgrenadepin i see what u mean, but seriously dont pay too much attention to the media.the taliban recieve huge support from locals and when things happen to civilians its normally the corrupt afghan army up to dirty tricks.I got family from around a trobled region near afghanistan/pakistan and speak to people that are trustworthy.

  • Shoulda kept the AC-130

  • WHERE ARE OUR SNIPERS !?!?!?

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA!

  • fuck america.. thieves steeling our petrol in the name of war.. see how the mother fuckers are dying

  • Lol... the dodgy muzzle flashes and inaccurate sound effects (m4s occasionally sounding like 50cals).

To top it off the F-15 appears to have twin machine guns, and they don't sound anything like 20mm vulcan cannons.

I hope someone had a word with the editor of this program, it's so incorrect it's almost a joke.

  • @Damecos YA U GOT THE POINT ITZ LIKE LIONS ROARS MEAW...........

  • 1:49 no ammo clip =)

  • of course they never even mentioned the cct embedded with the seals or tacp with the rangers

  • @chez372

    Chapman - CCT

He was mentioned as storming straight towards the enemy bunker and killing 2 al-Qaeda fighters.

"Roberts Ridge" by Malcolm MacPherson describes the CCT in great detail. It is an awesome read, I suggest you check it out.

    R.I.P. My Brothers.

"Never will I leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy." -Ranger Creed

  • Great video, The effectsfor the gun fire from the F15's around 5:50 are kind of cheezy though. lol

  • Chinooks get knocked down a lot. This is why Operation Redwing was a disaster is because these things are so easy for RPG's to hit. This is the main reason why AH-1 Apache's often fly escort for them whenever they deploy.

I suspect a helicopter gunship would have been much more effective than F-16.

  • I really don't understand this. Why would you drop your troops on the top of the enemy's head, where they get killed instantly, what kind of protocol is that?

  • Misinformation from the night before.

  • Guess US army calls this Rambo or JohnWayne -protocol ;D

well atleast they should ... would be very fitting

Dropping your special forces with a slow moving, large chopper without any firesupport in hostile territory with fixed entrenchments under broad daylight after already loosing two helicopters of the same type at night!...

BRILLIANT ;D someone in the Staff for sure got a medal for that planning.

  • @Germankaviar

If you were pinned down, awaiting extraction/rescue with four of your brothers, two badly wounded, you would want two chalks of Rangers to drop in and save the day.

If you ever left your mothers basement and fought for something you believed in, you would know that on a mountain such as Takur Ghar, the only LZ capable of landing even one wheel of a MH-47E is a lucky find. Not every LZ is cold.

You weren't there, you are uneducated on the matter, so don't type.

  • i never said i didn#t want someone extracting me when i'd be sitting ducks there.

I just said it was a failure in planning from the ARMCHAIR GENERAL STAFF since they apparently had intel from the British on hostiles in the area befor.

And what ever you say - dropping troops in a fighting zone with a Chinook is plain stupidity.

  • @Germankaviar actually chinooks are pretty damn fast! lol

  • @Germankaviar In a task force that big, its almost impossible to get info back to the top. The UAVs are controlled by CIA agents thousands of miles away without any communication with the people who are watching the feeds. And the radio network is like a spider web in those situations. Imagine playing a game of "telephone" with 30 people, except there is interference, static, and the generally bad sound quality of radios. YOU try to figure that one out.

  • @Germankaviar

Thats why you never put ur life in trust of someone sitting on comfortable chair far away from battle field/

  • @Germankaviar the third chopper was ordered to get back to the base, but there were friends of those men on the third chinhook still at the mountain, so they disobeyed and went in without permission

  • @Germankaviar talk about an armchair general............
